The only thing they can do for this season is tweak something scheme wise. As far as the players go its just like rearranging the chairs on the Titanic. The real fix can't happen until this offseason. Beane better hit a HR in the draft and FA this offseason.

Still I would love to see Allen run the offense with a real running game. By real I mean a good RB doing the running not him. Could you imagine opposing defenses having to worry about our run game which then opens up the passing game. Kelly always said when Thurman was having a good game which was most of the time it made his job so much easier. I think Josh would put up crazy numbers with that kind of a run game not mention a lot wins.

Brady is the GOAT and he always had a strong OL, a solid running game, weapons to throw to, and a solid defense on the other side of the ball. I would love to see Josh play with a strong team like that. The Bills are good and have come a long way from their losing ways but this team isn't a finished product. They have their issues and we all know what they are. When/If they get that fixed then I think you will see Allen's play go to another level. We have the QB in place to win us a Lombardi.

How many days does it take you to process a Bills loss?
Greg S replied to ShakAttack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Regular season losses a day or two at most. However wide right still hurts. -
I think we lose this one. Just a bad matchup here. The Bucs will dominate the LOS of both sides of the ball. This is also a rare game where Allen is the 2nd best QB on the field. My guess is 38-24 Bucs. At least it will be an NFC loss. The Bills must go 3-0 vs the Panthers, Falcons, and Jets to get to 10 wins. It would be great if they could beat the Pats but I wouldn't bet on it. Will 10 wins be enough for the playoffs?

The day I stop being a Bills fan is the day I go in a coffin. I want one just one before I checkout.

Could be a situation where its better if the Pats knock off the Colts. If they lose to TB then they are probably playing for a WC and not the division.

I would like to see McDermott coach this team with a better OL/DL. Hard to win in this league when you can't run or stop the run. Big time pressure is on Beane this offseason. Imagine a Bills team that isn't capable of playing in the cold, wind, snow.
-
Right now I would take Joe Cribbs at his current age over Moss.
-
Same. Can't stop the run and Brady against a Tre-less Bills secondary is not good. Even with Tre it would still be a challenge to stop them.
-
If he makes the kick in the 3rd quarter then its 14-13 on the last drive. The Bills would have had a chance to win with a FG instead of having to score a TD. There were other plays to be made that they didn't that cost us the game though.

Weak at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Been a problem all year. Hopefully Beane makes moves to fix it this offseason.

I believe this game is going to be shown nationally as well with Nantz and Romo. Great the entire country gets to see them lose twice in 6 days.

OK, armchair analysts: How do we fix this offense?

From a few years ago I remember Terry saying both report to him. He said McDermott has final say on coaching the team but Beane has final say with putting the team together with the draft/FA. Obviously they have discussions and voice their opinions but I remember Terry saying this is how the organizational structure of the team will be. -
This is worse because they have a QB and WR's. Fournette with 125 yards rushing and a TD. Brady 350 yards passing with 3 TD's on a Tre-less secondary. Allen and the O need to do the heavy lifting in this one for any chance of a win. I think TB will score in 30's for sure.

We built a team to beat KC ... and can't beat anyone else.

This offseason I want to see the Bills get bigger, tougher, more physical on both sides of the ball. It's frustrating watching the Bills get dominated at the LOS. Until Beane can do this I don't see a Lombardi coming to Buffalo. We have the QB and we are OK at the skill positions although they will need to get younger at WR soon and get an RB. OL and DL are the biggest priority without a doubt. -
Moss would have scored if he went outside. The dumbass cuts right back inside and gets stuffed.

It doesn’t seem like we have a homefield advantage anymore
Greg S replied to zow2's topic in The Stadium Wall
At this point if they get in it will probably be as a WC. So they will be on the road throughout the playoffs unless upsets happen which gives them a home game. That's assuming the Bills can win their games if they are in the playoffs. -

Definitely need to get tougher, more physical at the LOS on both sides of the ball. This will be a very important offseason for Beane with the draft and FA. -
Neither he or Beane are getting fired. Three playoff appearances in 4 years. 7-5 this year in the playoff mix. I get the frustration but even if they miss they will get another shot at it next season. If things don't go well in 2022 then maybe changes could come.

The Bills are built to throw the ball. They are weak at the LOS on both sides of the ball. Last night take away Allen's 6 rushes for 39 yards and the Bills RB's totaled 60 yards on 19 carries. Being one dimensional on offense isn't good no matter where you play. But in Buffalo it is a must to be able to run the ball especially late in the year. The Pats threw the ball 3 times and still managed 222 yards rushing. This is on Beane. He is the GM, he built this roster, he needs to fix it. -
That was not a Football Game Last Night - Weather ruined it

Hopefully Terry and Kim agree with you.
