  1. The Chiefs have the current best QB and one of the best coaches of all time and probably the best TE of all time. If we can get those three guys, then let’s follow the Chiefs model. If we can’t, let’s get Hopkins.
  2. If the top 3 teams in the AFC are the Chiefs, the Bengals and Bills, I would bet on the one in the playoffs that only has to play the other 2 once, at home.
  3. DHop should sue the league for collusion because no one wanted to trade picks and give him the contract he wanted - Florio, probably
  4. Lol in the playoffs every game is important. Because if you lose, you don’t keep going. The Ravens game wasn’t important bro. It wouldn’t have mattered if we won or lost. We went to the AFCCG either way.
  5. Oh oh that one just doesn’t count. Lmao. Sorry my mistake. I thought it was a great gameplan against a playoff team to get us to the first AFCCG in like 2 decades. But hey, not really a big game, not really a great gameplan (because that team had no offensive talent even though they made the divisional round and whipped the Titans the week before with 400 yards of offense). I’ll be more careful to bend reality to my “McD always sucks in the playoffs” narrative.
  6. Was our home playoff game against the Ravens not a big game? it’s hard to take arguments seriously when we act like it’s never ever been done by McD.
  7. Maybe Knox can be the big slot guy. You asked why he was not used that way last year, and I told you. You CAN keep an RB home in pass-pro and put Knox in the slot. That's not what happened though. I think Kincaid is a little shiftier and a little better route runner than Knox (although he hasn't done anything in the NFL yet). I think Knox is a better pass-catcher than most people give him credit for because they remember his putrid drop rate from a couple seasons ago. I think Knox is a superior blocker to Kincaid. It will be interesting to see how they are used. I would love to see a lot of presnap motion between the two and some more creativity. That's all on Dorsey though. As for Knox, he was 8th in yards per target last season, ahead of guys like Hock, Andrews, Fant, Gesicki etc. IMO, that paints a clear picture that any qualms about his production come from the opportunities he is given (or rather not given) instead of a lack of ability.
  8. Yep. The most obviously disconnect last year between FO and coaching was paying Knox that money and then letting him play 4th or 5th banana as a receiver.
  9. Because our OL sucked all year. Knox was asked to stay in and help block a ton. And Dorsey didn't really get him more involved until the second half of the year. Knox had 5 or more targets only 3 times in his first 8 games. He had 5 or more targets in 6 games the rest of the year. I never said you said that. You're stuffing words in my mouth lmao.
  10. Knox doesn’t get to pick where he gets lined up.
  11. Heaven forbid the Bills lose week 1. we will be talking about trading Josh and Von for a “king’s ransom” to start the 9 year rebuild and achieve the most important thing of all, cap space.
  12. Huh? what is a bad narrative? Who said they weren’t the same size?
  13. Add in that just about every team “improves” in the off-season lol. Our HC and QB have won the AFCE what, 3 years in a row? But of course, we are due for 8-9 says the battered Bills fans.
  14. Knox doesn’t line up in the slot as much as a Kelce does nor is he really used that way which I think was GB’s point, not that he’s not the same size.
  15. Are you replacing Yolo for now?
  16. Also a young "great" player is the exact kind of guy that MOST GM's will kick the can down the road for. The reason why Von's backloaded contract matters is because we won't want to extend him 2-3 years from now to reduce his cap hit. But for young guys, like Josh, Knox, White etc, you absolutely can, should and like everyone else in the NFL WOULD. Milano is obviously paid less, but he had proven to be a great player in Buffalo and was young enough that Beane was confident when his cap hit creeped up, they would feel comfortable extending him to bring it back down. Now Tremaine is even younger than Milano, which theoretically makes it even EASIER to do the above. You give Edmunds a 5-6 year deal, and in year 4 when it starts ballooning, you tack on another 3-4 years and bring it right back down. Beane didn't want to do that. He easily could have. He CHOSE not to. The Venn Diagram of people who were historically high on Tremaine Edmunds and also believe Beane absolutely loved him but just couldn't keep him is a circle. And that's the real rub here tbh.
  17. Nooo the word is nonsense lol If Beane truly thinks we couldn’t “afford” Edmunds with our cap situation, then he’s wrong too lol.
  18. Better? Probably. Playoff team? Maybe.
  19. Lmao I’ll believe the Jets are a playoff team when they make it and not a second before.
  20. Modern dictators need to do a case study on the drought era Bills and how propping up a fear of a mythical entity (the salary cap) got people to accept and spend money on a crap product for almost 2 decades.
  21. I don’t think anyone wants Levi as the #2 unless he flat out beats Elam/Benford in camp. And if that’s the case, then I’d be glad to have him.
  22. I mean I guess you could call old legs Josh Norman a "replacement" attempt, but a 1 year deal for a known quantity in the McD defense is just as much a depth signing.

  24. citation needed. Drafting DBs in the 7th isn't "trying to replace your starter" level investment.
