Diggs - will he resurface as the Bills go to WR in 2024?
FireChans replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Right, unlike the regular season where teams just pretend Diggs doesn’t exist and let him catch the ball uncovered. just like what happened week 10 this year. I like Diggs and he was elite in the regular season his first few years here, but a guys is what he is. -

Are you arguing that Diggs doesn’t disappear in the playoffs? Or just trying to be inane for no reason? -

No it would be our boy in the #14. He’s had 1 game with 100+ yards since 2020 in the playoffs. 3 games under 60 yards. He hasn’t had a TD since the Baltimore game 4 years ago. Guy stinks in the postseason. -
It all depends on how the first round shakes out. We got caught with the run on WR last year.

2 pick sixes also make the final score seem a lot worse.
-
He can now spend more time with his hobbies, like stealing wives.

didn’t Florio report Caleb wanted partial ownership? Didn’t he try to drive some “Joe Burrow may not play for the Bengals” narrative? https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/does-joe-burrow-hope-the-bengals-dont-draft-him “Burrow may be thinking about trying to get the Bengals to not draft him -- or to get someone else to trade up and get him. And the evidence is becoming more and more clear.” “So the brother of Burrow’s private coach, who was a first overall pick of the Bengals, says the Bengals aren’t committed to winning Super Bowls. And then Burrow says that he wants to play for a team that is committed to winning Super Bowls. Sure, there’s nothing to see here.” lmao this is like a worse version of a bad TBD post. that sounds just like a paragon of truth lmao -

Are we seriously arguing that teams didn’t figure out to “focus on Diggs” until like week 10 lol. They were that worried about Harty and Sherfield to that point? If Diggs had a secret injury, he gutted out the Pro Bowl just fine after the season. The bottom line is Diggs either gave up or isn’t the same player anymore. We’ll find out next year, maybe. -

That was the only way to get Stef the ball. Because he was never open. -

Diggs has skated because he had that one viral photo of being upset watching the Chiefs win. He is arguably the biggest playoff no-show on the team. -
He signs with another team after a year of backing up and he’ll count towards comp pick formula

If Diggs plays like he did down the stretch last year in 24, Beane will call him an Uber to the airport himself. -

He could also give an easy opportunity to dump Diggs next year if the rookie pans out. Rookie #1 WR and a vet with some good years ahead of him as #2. -
That’s awesome, but it wasn’t for the team that drafted him, so we could’ve just lit that pick on fire or drafted Scooby-doo for all the good it did for us
-
Draft some and bring in some that proved they can play at the NFL level. Trent Sherfield never did. Neither did Harty. DJ is not the same as those dudes and neither was John Brown. To put John Brown, who signed a modest FA WR contract, and put up solid numbers as a #1 WR, in the same category of Trent Sherfield, who signed a near vet minimum deal, and had a career receiving total of like 800 yards over 5 seasons, just demonstrates a lack of understanding WR talent and their impact.

Yeah I do. Are we considering that some kind of vast mistake lol. he was traded for a 7th. Our last 7th rounder didn’t even make the team.

Because I want good receivers not lotto tickets and Trent Sherfields. -
What past mistake have the Bills had for 5th and 6th round picks? Tanner Vallejo?

Kenny Pickett has almost twice as many starts than passing TD’s in his career. He had 6 TD’s in 12 starts last year. Can’t imagine why he gave up. We need to stop trying to beat the Chiefs with choir boys and role models. -
They are hilarious. If the Falcons had won the bidding for Watson, he is probably an All-Pro and they have a NFCCG appearance at least. Just to salt the Browns’ fans wounds. But because the Browns’ won the bidding, Watson inexplicably just stopped being a good-to-great QB, and is now the worst QB-contract in football. Thats the power of the Browns. No matter what happens, it’s gonna to maximize their pain.
