  1. Imo it was the right decision to kick. Maybe Bass gets some confidence going forward. if he had missed, he would’ve been sent packing tomorrow. Kind of a win win.
  2. I personally think there’s a higher chance he’s not in a Bills uni than in serious consideration to start. He hasn’t been in serious consideration since his rookie year. Next year will be more of the same. They will draft a kid relatively high, sign a decent FA and those guys will play over him unless they get hurt.
  3. I wrote the topic in September.
  4. I couldn’t use stats from games that hadn’t played yet.
  5. Elam is what he has been since he joined the team. -a bad scheme fit -A weird locker room issue where some coaches seem to hate him -a backup level player on this defense. Folks really are gonna buy back into “he will start next year.” He won’t. He’s a backup on this team at best. McD and co thought DANE JACKSON was better than him. He was boundary CB4 LAST YEAR, behind Tre, Dane and Benford. When Tre went down, they threw Elam out there and he played HORRIBLE against Jacksonville. So they stashed him on IR and traded for Douglas. He’s not just unlucky he’s behind Benford and Douglas. McD and co have actively found other players to play over him. And they will again next year. He is a backup until he walks in FA. If Dane Jackson was still here, we all know he starts over Elam. There’s no reason to keep pretending otherwise.
  6. It’s a metamorphosis topic. What was I wrong about? That the Bills needed to get Davis going better? They did. That he had an unimpressive first Q of the season? he did. he’s played better and made good plays. This is obvious to everyone but I guess you need to hear it from me for some reason lol.
  7. And he saw it, didn’t take any picture, and everyone else at CAESAR’s also saw it and also did not take any picture. Not one person. Hm
  8. Mayfield started his first year at OK in 2015. Feels like yesterday.
  9. I do. it would be plastered everywhere online. That’s a click generator. A topic for many people to loudly opine how bad it is. Combining head injuries, gambling, NFL in one story? My gut tells me that @Returntoglory’s friend is either messing with him or wrong himself.
  10. Quotes from 2015
  11. Time for the oldest internet rule in history. pics or it didn’t happen.
  12. Yeah when Josh gets his new contract, he will be probably the highest paid QB in the NFL or close to it. I don’t think you pay a Shakir to ride along.
  13. I don’t think that Shakir is worth what he will demand on the open market. He is a wonderful player and I wish we could keep him but he remains just below what we should spend with Josh making top 5 money imo
  14. Yeah my point remains the sensible.
  15. I don’t think WR’s that are between top 20 and top 40 are worth what they are paid on the open market.
  16. I agree they probably shouldn’t extend Shakir but I think they will, personally.
  17. Excuse me. Doug wanted them to hire HUE JACKSON. Arguably the worst HC of all time. A worse winning percentage than Jim Tomsula. It wasn’t ANY offensive coach. It was an actual “offensive” coach.
  18. Personally, I think a large majority of “miracle” plays are complete defensive failures. That’s kinda what makes them miracles.
  19. Is the next topic going to be, “who was a better acquisition, Ryan Fitzpatrick or Josh Allen”
  20. It’s kind of interesting because I look at this group today as a comparison of the 2020-2021 units, at least at the top. Cooper - Diggs Coleman - Davis Shakir - Beasley 2024 Cooper is probably not as good as 2020-2021 Diggs. But Davis was a WR3/4 over-elevated and I think Coleman clears him now. Shakir and Beasley may be a wash but I give the edge to Shakir. Then you add Kincaid and Cook to the mix and this entire offensive group looks not half bad. Just looking at EPA/play, this is the best offense we have had since 2020.
  21. There’s no reason to be nasty. Any argument to trade Edwards is an argument to trade Elam. Any argument to keep Edwards is an argument to keep Elam. You know this is true. Super awesome “valuable” depth is literally anything but.
  22. Who knows? Maybe! He wouldn’t be the first DB on our team to spend a large majority of their time with us inactive/not playing but be in our plans the next year.
