NFL Week #15 - Fish at Buffalo - Post Game Thread
Ya Digg? replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Can you explain why the Bengals are flat out more talented? Receiver absolutely yes, where else do they have more talent? also I’m not sure you can definitively say the dolphins have the 2 best deep threats in the league. There are a lot of really talented, fast receivers out there. Certainly a nightmare having 2 of the fastest guys in the league on the same team (and maybe I’m nitpicking) but I wouldn’t say those 2 are first and second in terms of being a deep threat -

So you’re saying the top 2 reasons why the Bills won last night was because of a DPI and the weather? Not Josh, not the running game finally having success on the final drive, not Gabe Davis playing well, not Dawson Knox having a good game…(should I keep going) why do you intentionally continue to ignore what others are saying to you? Guess what-KC has holes in their game, the 49ers have a 7th round rookie steering for them, the Eagles rely on Hurts as much as the Bills rely on Allen. The point is no team is playing perfect and no team is going to play perfect. You seem to ignore the good stuff in the wins and focus on the bad, so then if the Bills lose it’s going to give you a chance to say I told you so, as if that’s some moral victory -
If the Bills had lost Cam Lewis would have played a huge role in the Bills losing 2 games this year

I said to a friend tonight that I would hate to see but actually love to see how many yards teams have gained against the Bills this year after contact. They have to be giving up the most yards after contact and it’s not even close

It’s the Michael Irvin/Shannon Sharpe thing though-as former players they don’t have to be good, they just have to be opinionated and loud. -

How dare you talk about Quessenberry like that, he’s a warrior and stuff-even though he played terrible! Maybe it’s time the Bills bring back Feliciano because he has a “mean streak” (aka sucks but he’s a d**k to the other team) -
Week 15: Dolphins at Bills on Saturday Night Football

He was locked in at the airport?!?! Oh man, what are the Bills ever going to do? They’re doomed I tell you, doooooooooooomed!!!!! -
Let’s slow down on the hyperbole there. Let him start maybe 5 games before he is anointed the next great thing. He has shown that when you don’t have much film on him he can play decently. He doesn’t throw a good deep ball, he hasn’t been in a position where he needs to make a play, so I think you need to hit the breaks. There are countless guys who have had better 2 game starts to their careers. they have a good team, but I’ll take the Bills top guy over theirs and their is a mountain of distance between their “great backup outright starter” and our guy throwing the ball

I believe there is a certain defensive coordinator who has been getting crushed on here for the last 10 months or so because he went super conservative, playing not to lose
-
You continue to make excuses for the other teams. Denver has a good offense on paper? Cool, how well he that worked out for them this year. The Bills beat a better team yesterday by more than the Chiefs did but you fail to acknowledge that. Do we all want to see every game like the Titans or Steelers games, of course, but that’s not reality. Yes the Bills have things to fix, but so does every team. It’s fine to be critical, but some of your arguments are nonsensical. I don’t care at all if they don’t ply to their potential as long as at the end of the game the Bills have more points than their opponent

KC played bad today, Tennessee lost, Miami looks bad right now, Baltimore is down another QB, Cincinnati won but didn’t look good either…
-
For the most part Dawkins had been very good this year, today was not his day
-
If there’s something he’s “elite” at, it’s defending the run. He needs more moves when he’s rushing the QB, but it’s pretty much pointless to run at him
-
Not sure how the answer to that question wouldn’t be Dawkins-4 holding penalties, 3 accepted
-
There was also lots of complaining after the Thanksgiving because it was against the Lions, but the Lions are 5-1 in their last 6 and very soundly beat the Vikings today…I will take the least impressive Super Bowl champ over the best non Super Bowl champ any day
-
I liked that they got Knox involved today. Didn’t hate the play call on the final drive when they threw to him on first down-was definitely a tough catch, wish he would’ve come down with it. I think I’d they can get him more involved downfield like they did today going forward that can help get the offense going again. It seems for several weeks he was used solely as an outlet
-
Isn’t it crazy what “taking care of business” apparently looks like? I guess since Mahomes threw for 300+ that’s good enough for some. Ignore they almost blew a game where they were up 27-0 to Denver-oh and did I mention the comeback was almost completed by their back up QB. I have to think KC fans aren’t feeling great about this win either…
-
Good one-your standards for a game ball are just incredibly low I guess
-
You watched Dane give up all of those third and longs as well as several other catches and want to give him a game ball? We definitely watched different games today then. He had a nice pass break up on the last drive, I'll give him that, but how many tackles did he miss and how many catches did he give up? My real time assessment is fine, no need to watch the game again, appreciate the suggestion though
-
They both had bad games too, but at least Hamlin caused a fumble. Jackson and McKenzie just stood out to me as having awful games
-
Nothing is safe with McKenzie
-
At least with Mckenzie he can get pulled off the field, and I have to believe he has lost a lot of trust from Josh after today. I think Jackson played every snap today and I don't understand why. Obviously we aren't in meetings or at practice, but he must be doing really well there (and Elam must not be showing anything at all during practice) to be getting as much PT as he is getting. If not Shakir, who I would like to see get more time, perhaps it's time to put Hines or Cook in the slot more. Isaiah has had his chance, he's done
