  1. It works against the argument that someone in college would make more than in the NFL (which they don't)
  2. Awesome, another WR whose best attribute is blocking…can we find WRs who catch better than they block?!?!
  3. Any kid who stays for NIL money who is going to be a top pick is thinking very short sided in my opinion. The sooner you get to your 2nd contract in the NFL the better. Most guys in college won’t make anything near what they will make in the NFL on their first contract. You are also running the risk of getting hurt and hurting your draft stock, which will also end up costing you millions. That’s why the whole Caleb Williams might stay (and every guy before and after him who is projected to go #1) is so utterly laughable-it will never happen
  4. So obviously the big topic of discussion here is Douglas, and here’s the conundrum (playing bad scenario here): what if they keep him and he gets hurt? How many threads will be started next season, including people who right now are saying the Bills would be crazy to get rid of him, claiming what a huge mistake it was to keep him? Or what if they do let him go and he balls out with another team? Then we get all of the “I told you so” threads which are always so much fun to see. Personally, I would be fine either way. He played well so he has earned the chance to stay and play, but also with him being over 30, that $10 million could go to good use
  5. There have been PLENTY of deals much worse than the Miller deal. This is just angry Bills talk
  6. My fault I misunderstood, I thought you meant another team just signing a franchise guy. I also don’t think anyone is willing to trade for him-he’s not worth a first round pick and the contract a team would sign him to. Lots of good young receivers in the draft
  7. Considering that hasn’t happened in like 25 years I wouldn’t hold my breath
  8. So one guy comes out and says there’s drama so that must be true? I’m not saying it can’t be true, but what if Schefter is right? If it turns out to not be true, what are the repercussions for this dude stating wild accusations? Probably nothing because these guys aren’t held to any standards any more. can’t it just be the team was figured out fell apart? That their first year (who they replaced) just wasn’t very good?
  9. Well they aren’t paying Chase yet, he’s still on his rookie contract. Which is why they can afford the franchise tag for Higgins this year. I do think the Bengals will draft a WR at some point, but even if they had let Higgins walk I highly doubt it would’ve been in the first round. They have Burrow’s huge contract and he can’t stay healthy, so I would think protecting him had to be their first priority
  10. Right! Players should always 100% be about the money-it’s not their job to make things work within the cap. People who say they wouldn’t chase the money are lying to themselves. It’s such a weird world we live in where so many people bash the people who put the product on the field and protect the big time billionaire owners
  11. Would’ve been more surprising if they didn’t franchise tag him. Most likely will be gone after next season but they get to keep him for one more year before their big salaries get close to kicking in. It will be really interesting to see how much Chase gets when he signs his new deal
  12. So they have a worse cap situation than the Bills and a worse QB that they’re about to pay but they’re in a better position than the Bills for next year? They are cutting one of their better players, another one of their highest paid players will be about for. Good chunk of the year recovering from his injury, it’s possible they lose Wilkins…I don’t see how they are in a better position
  13. Perhaps, but they won’t be able to easily bring back Jones, Snead, and add pieces. They will still have to make decisions
  14. He has also said he wants to be paid-I wouldn’t be surprised at all if he left KC
  15. If there’s one thing the internet does well, it’s complain just to complain
  16. Hahahahaha I love the hate in here! If the Bills had signed him, there would’ve been 3 pages of complaining about his problems, doesn’t know how to hold the ball for kicks, blah blah blah. He signs with the Chiefs and all of a sudden the Bills didn’t sign this all world punter 🤦‍♂️
  17. So the problem with this thinking is you can say literally every year that a team has needs at OL, DL, secondary…any position. At some point a team has to pull the trigger and get your all world QB top shelf weapons and stop expecting him to always elevate lower level guys. I’m not saying they have to get a WR, but you can’t go the Packers model and never use high picks on weapons for your QB
  18. Come on, that’s not how this works around here! Remember, according to some here only the Bills have cap issues, teams like the Chiefs and Bengals never have cap issues, guys to re-sign, everyone will sign with them for cheap. What you guys are saying is complete bull hockey! Get your heads out of your asses and add to the doom and gloom!
  19. Haha I’m not sure you could’ve made a more “get off my lawn” statement if you tried!
  20. So what would your solution have been? Just keep pumping hundreds of millions of dollars into the old stadium? Prices would still increase
  21. On 3rd down yes he could’ve done more, on 2nd down it’s an emphatic NO, he didn’t need to do more. Sure we all see Diggs was open but A) no one knows if he was the first, second, third read and B) if Dawkins holds his block just a half second longer it’s a touchdown
  22. You need to follow your own advice. We all want to see them win, but for you to continue to ignore that there were actually good things about this past season is tired and boring at this point
  23. Uh I looked at the options and I didn’t see the correct answer. I believe they haven’t won because **checks notes for accuracy** Josh hasn’t been able to “mentally over power Mahomes” This is clearly the only correct option
  24. Elam has more interceptions than Burke has touchdowns. That is not a good thing. Why anyone would want to make that trade is beyond me
  25. But here’s where your thinking is flawed. Josh doesn’t play against Mahomes. So you wrote a very long, thought out statement but ignored the most obvious part
