  1. Houston has shown BOB out the door for the reasons Big Blitz listed .....
  2. how about this February AND next year vs. the Bucs ?....😎
  3. Myself & #BillsMafia will be taking over @ Tampa, and a roadie to New Orleans sounds great as well .....
  4. my dream scenario to a T !!!...... have already discussed a BUF-GB SB with my favorite professor from college who is from Wisconsin.....2 small market teams. https://www.census.gov/content/dam/Census/library/visualizations/2020/comm/superbowl.pdf
  5. fantastic reference to the one of the best characters from one of the best series ........thank you
  6. I wore my Bills hat to an MRI and then grocery shopping today here in Sarasota, and no less than 6 people chatted me up and said how much they wanted to see the Bills in the SB. Made my afternoon....!
  7. Haven't read the article yet but can't wait....don't know it was mentioned by ESPN, but I just talked to my bro in CT and apparently Diggs just absolutely took command of the locker room at halftime vs. PIT. I realize this kind of stuff is anecdotal, but it just adds to his legitimacy.
  8. you apparently missed the sarcasm, but I should have used an emoji to make that clear....... I have nothing but the highest aspirations for the Sabres.
  9. IMO props to the OP. It may sound sappy to those outside of Buffalo but we know it's real. Players and agents DO talk. The Pegulas DO pay for the right people (....just not w/ the Sabres.....😅)
  10. A Bills - grade A Yes. Oh yes. If this team, in your mind, isn't creeping at least a little closer to the Chiefs in terms of both entertainment and on-field value, you must not be watching. Josh Allen is giving us so much more good than bad with his never-say-die play, and Stefon Diggs somehow looks better by the week as his No. 1 target. The ground game wasn't spectacular, and the O-line allowed a few of Allen's passes to be delivered haphazardly, but those are nitpicky issues. The "D" absolutely eliminated Pittsburgh's run game, got in Big Ben's face and played strong around the ball. This looked like a team that could find themselves in a rematch with the Steelers in the playoffs and win tough a second time. They're fun. They're dangerous. They deserve props. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-14-grades-cowboys-get-an-a-for-pummeling-bengals-giants-get-d-for-no-show-against-cardinals/
  11. always enjoy Deadspin for their irreverent humor and accurate takes ..... some excerpts after last night: The Steelers, in their last few games, have looked worse than a college kid the Sunday after homecoming. They paid the price for their hangover with another L last night to a very good Buffalo team. The Bills looked like a team that could easily represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and the Steelers looked like a team that couldn’t even make the Cheez-It Bowl this season. Josh Allen didn’t have one of his most efficient days but he still threw two crucial touchdowns that helped the Bills take control of the game. Stefon Diggs also tormented the Pittsburgh secondary like a bad credit score on Sunday night with ten catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. https://deadspin.com/colts-run-through-raiders-like-beef-stroganoff-chiefs-1845877089
  12. my immediate thought as well when I saw the question. Love the idea of a Knox TD pass, but even some bubble screens or quick outs for YAC would be sweet..
  13. Agreed, and not just getting healthy at the right time....we haven't been wiped out by COVID like some other teams, and we are peaking at the right time.....IMHO something McDermott has gotten really good at in preparing this team week to week
  14. NO, they're just losing money on the Sabres .....
  15. No. I'd like to see BUF vs. GB = 2 small market franchises. And as NBC Sports described yesterday, Allen's performance Monday looked like he was a bigger version of Rodgers >> calm, cool, & collected
  16. Looking forward to see if Dabs dials up any trickeration tonight....

  18. Almost as shocking as Carroll ignoring the weather forecast for that Sunday.
  19. IIRC, the Bills had only 1 takeaway (Tre's INT), while the Bills committed 3 turnovers (1 int and 2 fumbles)
  20. Just wanted to throw some qualitative things out there which I admire about McDermott >>>> yes, he's built a strong culture and you can tell the guys on the roster love each other, love playing for him, and playing for each other. He puts a premium on family and seems to read the team's pulse, e.g., when an unexpected day off is needed. He holds everyone accountable, including himself. I love that he is always trying to improve, both personally and professionally. He does not throw anyone under the bus...I could list more. There's a correlation between all of the above and the reason why potential free agents and trade acquisitions are viewing Buffalo as a great place & organization to come to. The word has gotten out. Do you all remember the endless posts about why players would turn down Buffalo? It was pure self-flagellation. Now, we are expecting good players to come here.....all of this to say the championship will come with McDermott. Book it.
  21. It seems to me that the Chargers have about 18 uniform combinations .......agree, yesterday was not their best look at all
  22. If there was no 3rd quarter in any games we could be 11-0....hyperbole aside, glad to see the run game (albeit vs a poor run D) and the D stepped up, but this game overall left me strangely unsatisfied. Lots of us remember the dark days when we would have been over the moon to be 8-3. Maybe the bar has been raised, and, with it, my expectations. Perhaps I am guilty of being a tortured armchair QB.
  23. I'm gonna go get the papers get the papers.....
