MMQB on Josh Allen's development

fantastic reference to the one of the best characters from one of the best series ........thank you -
A Bills - grade A Yes. Oh yes. If this team, in your mind, isn't creeping at least a little closer to the Chiefs in terms of both entertainment and on-field value, you must not be watching. Josh Allen is giving us so much more good than bad with his never-say-die play, and Stefon Diggs somehow looks better by the week as his No. 1 target. The ground game wasn't spectacular, and the O-line allowed a few of Allen's passes to be delivered haphazardly, but those are nitpicky issues. The "D" absolutely eliminated Pittsburgh's run game, got in Big Ben's face and played strong around the ball. This looked like a team that could find themselves in a rematch with the Steelers in the playoffs and win tough a second time. They're fun. They're dangerous. They deserve props. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/nfl-week-14-grades-cowboys-get-an-a-for-pummeling-bengals-giants-get-d-for-no-show-against-cardinals/

always enjoy Deadspin for their irreverent humor and accurate takes ..... some excerpts after last night: The Steelers, in their last few games, have looked worse than a college kid the Sunday after homecoming. They paid the price for their hangover with another L last night to a very good Buffalo team. The Bills looked like a team that could easily represent the AFC in the Super Bowl and the Steelers looked like a team that couldn’t even make the Cheez-It Bowl this season. Josh Allen didn’t have one of his most efficient days but he still threw two crucial touchdowns that helped the Bills take control of the game. Stefon Diggs also tormented the Pittsburgh secondary like a bad credit score on Sunday night with ten catches for 130 yards and a touchdown. https://deadspin.com/colts-run-through-raiders-like-beef-stroganoff-chiefs-1845877089

Week 14: Steelers at Bills on SNF

my immediate thought as well when I saw the question. Love the idea of a Knox TD pass, but even some bubble screens or quick outs for YAC would be sweet.. -

Agreed, and not just getting healthy at the right time....we haven't been wiped out by COVID like some other teams, and we are peaking at the right time.....IMHO something McDermott has gotten really good at in preparing this team week to week -

Almost as shocking as Carroll ignoring the weather forecast for that Sunday. -
Just wanted to throw some qualitative things out there which I admire about McDermott >>>> yes, he's built a strong culture and you can tell the guys on the roster love each other, love playing for him, and playing for each other. He puts a premium on family and seems to read the team's pulse, e.g., when an unexpected day off is needed. He holds everyone accountable, including himself. I love that he is always trying to improve, both personally and professionally. He does not throw anyone under the bus...I could list more. There's a correlation between all of the above and the reason why potential free agents and trade acquisitions are viewing Buffalo as a great place & organization to come to. The word has gotten out. Do you all remember the endless posts about why players would turn down Buffalo? It was pure self-flagellation. Now, we are expecting good players to come here.....all of this to say the championship will come with McDermott. Book it.

Week 12 Post Game thread Bills vs Chargers
BuffaninSarasota replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If there was no 3rd quarter in any games we could be 11-0....hyperbole aside, glad to see the run game (albeit vs a poor run D) and the D stepped up, but this game overall left me strangely unsatisfied. Lots of us remember the dark days when we would have been over the moon to be 8-3. Maybe the bar has been raised, and, with it, my expectations. Perhaps I am guilty of being a tortured armchair QB. -
