I've got to wonder how much money the guy has made. If it's not much, he's a candidate for living in a refrigerator box 5 years from now. I think they did it for the potential compensatory pick when (if?) he signs somewhere else in FA.

There are far fewer things in the world that are about you than you think there are.

I typically don't love shootouts but that was absolutely one of the greatest, most ass-clenching football games I've ever seen in my life.

He probably actually said it but nobody could remember it the next morning.

Hmmmph, I've gone my whole life always believing that Benjamin Spock actually wrote that. I'm totally not going to tell my kids I was wrong the whole time......

At this point you have to start suspecting mental health issues. Entitlement is one thing; this seems like it goes beyond that.

Isn't he the guy who said say feed 'em, love 'em and leave 'em entitled?

These are always the things that get mentioned but that season was cursed before it even started. Dawson Knox's little brother died, Deon Dawkins "wife" almost died during camp, Micah Hyde suffered a neck injury early that looked like it could end his career, etc. They just kept getting hammered with one thing after another, real world problems stacking up until they were just so exhausted they were ready to be done with football, imo.

I haven't been real high on him but I thought Austin Johnson played very well in limited snaps last week.

Yep. And ours too!

When I saw a Lake wearing a #37 I wondered if that was his boy. Thanks for the confirmation.

beat me to it

Zero resemblance, imo. Less than zero if possible.

Here's a tip, babe. You can carry more beer if you use those big hips to rest the tray on. - House's last words (1/19/25)

They wouldn't be so mad if you'd just leave them a tip once in a while

The media and the fans/bettors are playing their role to perfection this week. I fully expect the Bills to be carrying massive attitude on Sunday.

There's technique involved, but not to the same degree as you need to play CB, WR, etc. Those spots in the scrum are want to positions where effort can supersede everything else.

He needs to take a lesson from Shoeless Mack Hollins

Any Ray Davis injury (concussion) updates?
Simon replied to Desert Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah, that one was for real. Not only did he take the initial shot to the head that KO'd him but then he also hit his head on the turf on the rebound and going the other direction. Not good As good as Ty Johnson has been, I sort of hope Davis sits this one out and takes the extra week to play it safe. -
He was definitely injured on an awkward tackle by Roquan Smith in the 1st qrtr and went off. He either took the needle or just sucked it up and came back in during the 2nd qrtr because of how shorthanded the Bills were at WR. He hobbled around out there for a while, maybe caught another pass or two at the most and then was taken back out again in the 2nd half and didn't play again for two weeks.
-
Shakir also went off injured in the 1st qrtr. And Von Miller might have played like 5 snaps. This Bills team would beat that Bills team by 3 TDs.

More bulletin board material from Baltimore. “City of Losers”
Simon replied to Chief Loves Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Sorry boss, but I am not giving asshats like that their own thread and platform here. They can go play "Look at Me!" somewhere else. -
Additionally, with both Bernard and Milano out, they also couldn't realistically run any 4-3, even if they'd wanted to. They were fighting cops while handcuffed. The team that's going to walk on the field Sunday is world's apart from the earlier matchup, and on both sides of the ball when you factor in the addition of Shakir and Cooper.
