  1. Comparing McDermott running the 2nd best team in the NFL to the Ryan circus that needed to end is a false equivalency, imo.
  2. Being scheme versatile is not a flaw, imo. 3
  3. Who is this mysterious young stranger and how long will he take to "grow" into one of the best coaches in NFL history? Finding a coach to improve on the 2nd best team in the NFL so that he can beat the best team in the NFL isn't that hard? Sorry, but you are simply living in fantasy land. They were not running heavy zone schemes last night.
  4. It might work if Spagnuolo had any interest in leaving a franchise that is making him wealthy and filling his fingers with SB rings.
  5. Yes, hiring some inexperienced kid who is suddenly going to magically beat the historically dominant Reid/Mahomes/Spagnuolo combo is outside the realm of possibility.
  6. How many of those guys are beating Reid/Mahomes/Spagnuolo? Zero? This one might do it:
  7. Unless you have an actual viable solution, this is nothing but more complaining. They've arguably been the second best team in the NFL for the last 5 years and would probably have a couple Lombardis if it weren't for the Chiefs. Mahomes/Reid/Spagnuolo are not only the best combo in the NFL but one of the best in its entire history. What is your realistic solution to get past them, because blowing it all up ain't it.
  8. He made the right read from what I saw, at least post-snap. I think he was just a hair late because he pulled his eyes down for a split second to finally recognize the corner blitz keeping him from getting outside and that hesitation forced him to be late coming back to it and have to throw it falling backwards where he couldn't deliver it with strength or touch. Kincaid was coming wide open into the zone the corner had vacated and the safety was late enough it might have even had a chance to score.
  9. Hey, there's like three of us here now. Only about a thousand more to hit critical mass.
  10. They would have had to play it absolutely perfectly to steal the lead and not give Mahomes the ball back with time. There were better paths to winning that game, imo.
  11. I am convinced that was by design. The Bills thought they had a matchup advantage over there and all they accomplished is their battering ram losing all its momentum off the snap.
  12. Oh, I 100% agree. Repeatedly leaving James Cook on the sideline in those situations is an awful mistake, imo. We're not likely to have him for long and I wish they'd be more willing to lean on him in specific situations, particularly in the postseason.
  13. I had no problem with that one, even though it ended up squirrelly. Letting him plant and go right off the snap is a far superior option than asking him to move laterally first, imo.
  14. He missed a couple more throws than he could afford to tonight, but that is a flat out ignorant title, imo.
  15. I think it would make us a stronger, wiser and more respected fanbase if we recognized our shortcomings regarding crying about officiating. And if it takes somebody occasionally being a pest about it, I'll fill that role. I'm not going to crusade about it but I will toss the occasional firecracker in hopes it forces people to stop and think about it.
  16. Neither is anybody else in the world.
  17. Yeah, they got entirely too reliant on it over the course of the year and never really developed anything to complement it. Asking Josh to move laterally before he drives is not a viable variation.
  18. It's the only one I see firsthand so I can't really speak to any others'.
  19. I'm less troubled by that because I think he was too hurt to actually be a reliable part of the offense most of the year.
  20. Me being the guy that cleans this place up and takes care of it for everybody's benefit doesn't mean that I'm the only person on here that's not allowed to say his piece.
  21. I was so focused on the space opening in front of Kincaid that I didn't even see Shakir. He came out of the backfield on the play didn't he?
  22. Back 'atcha, brother. Thanks for all your great contributions for so many years. It's why I keep coming back here. 🤙
  23. Actually I view it as more of an embarrassment for our spoiled culture but that's neither here nor there.
