So let’s play this game - disregarding the fact that you’re constantly negative on the team and anything associated with the team - Beane did not pull the trigger and give up assets to trade for Hopkins, correctly guessing that no one else would either prior to him being cut, which he was. So does Beane get some credit for that?

nah. in most cases with the amount of whining that takes place on this board I’d normally agree with you but this is a bad change. It benefits nobody except the league and its bottom line. It potentially inconveniences fans and shifts more health risks to players. It’s not a good move.
