  1. Yeah, we definitely can't count on any favors coming out of Cleveland. For the reasons you mentioned AND: *Mason Rudolph revenge game *Browns have six starters out with COVID, nullifying the fact that Steelers are resting *Browns are cursed *2004 Bills were in exact same situation against Steelers backups and blew it
  2. I just don't see that working. I don't think the starters will come in and save the day. I think you try to bury the Dolphins early with a killer instinct and hope the Browns are doing the same to the Steelers. If/when either thing happens, you pull everyone you can while still fielding a team
  3. Wouldn't base it on Madden, but yes, obviously we need to avoid them and we should do whatever we have to do to secure the #2 seed. It is impossible for us to play the Ravens if they win and we are #2. That's why this rest argument going around is so absurd. We need to win, or we need to make sure the Browns are winning, period, before pulling people. Drawing the Ravens would be a disaster and anyone who tells you otherwise isn't paying attention to what's going on in that football team. Among BAL/TEN/CLE/IND/MIA, one does not belong and it's the Ravens.
  4. I came here to say this. A half to go, but he looks very ordinary in what might be his final game at Clemson. Fields, on the other hand, looks like a fierce competitor with a burning desire to win, along with mad talent throwing and running the ball. He looks like a star and a problem. Recent interview with Lawrence revealed he isn't even really an NFL fan -- HUGE red flag if you ask me. It seems like he does football because he's good at it. I don't watch much college football, so interested to hear more. What are the red flags? He looks incredible right now.
  5. Parker will play and play well. He's a Bills killer for some reason.
  6. Duke Williams about to be cut to make room for Stills on P.S., I believe.
  7. I also feel it is inevitable that the Bills win the Super Bowl.
  8. My score prediction is based on the scenario that Allen plays a half. MIA 21 BUF 31
  9. Jake Rudock, just signed. In other words, it's Tua and that's IT.
  10. Yes, but I don't think anyone really expected him to finish the game. This changes the outlook of this game significantly. This Bills team should be able to beat this version of the Dolphins in Buffalo even while sitting some players. I like our D, even without some starters, against Turod Tagotaylora in the cold, with no backup plan, and with huge pressure on him. The rookie is going to crumble.
  11. It will be intriguing to find out. Will tell us a lot!
  12. Was wondering the same -- or for those who choose to purchase but then test comes back positive.
  13. Chris Simms just emphatically said on PFT that the Bills should do whatever they have to do to avoid playing the Ravens. He gets it.
  14. How many of the 8 QBs of the past could you identify easily? I get 6... Not sure on the other 2. McCoy McCown Tyrod Quinn Kizer Manziel
  15. Wildly misleading. Not every potential outcome can be weighted with the same probability
  16. That is extremely unlikely. Back in a game 11-12 days after a week-to-week designation? That would be unprecedented as far as I can recall. You have to allow for practice time as well. This is bad news. Can't cut it any other way. We can hope to get him back at some point later in the playoffs (maybe AFCCG?) if we're able to advance without him. I see a lot of people on here and Twitter thinking, "Oh week to week? Ok great too bad he can't get 1,000 yards but at least he'll be back for playoff game!" Evidently, not familiar with week-to-week designations.
  17. Not to mention that there are no locker room interviews at all this year... To be honest, I wouldn't put too much stock into that. They might know, but more likely they're just guessing based on whatever it looked like to the person at WGR who wrote the Sports Update.
  18. The Ravens are win and in. This would be more of a move to knock the Colts out as they're the only team that needs help. There is so much misinformation in this thread! People, please just look at this:
  19. Mason Rudolph playing is no guarantee that the Browns win, just like Barkley playing would still give the Bills a good chance to win. Rudolph can be good in spurts, even better than Roethlisberger for a bit. Steelers rested starters when 2004 Bills were in exact same situation as 2020 Browns, and we know how that turned out. We also know the Browns are kind of cursed, and the Steelers have their number. This is not a done deal at all. Bills should bury Dolphins and/or wait for Browns to bury Steelers, then rest everyone humanly possible immediately.
  20. Mason Rudolph playing is no guarantee that the Browns win, just like Barkley playing would still give the Bills a good chance to win. 21. Baltimore. Obviously, second-hottest behind the Bills. I think it's clear what it means when this is being written from a Bills perspective. The Ravens are the hottest team we could play/the hottest team other than ourselves. The Steelers rested against the Bills in exactly the same scenario once. Cautionary tale for the Browns.
