  1. All depends on the color of his underwear this week.
  2. I wouldn’t take on his contract with no picks involved. Forget about giving up a high pick too.
  3. Seems like a low salary for him, but good for him.
  4. Did you watch Zeke last year? The guy is not done, he looked pretty darn good. He would be a nice compliment to Cook and he can still catch the ball. He’s not being asked to carry the load, just be the #2. That’s not CLOSE to starting money for a DE.
  5. The guy is a whiny brat, he checked out. He never wanted to take a hit, always diving down or going OB, which I get, but when they asked him to play more physical, take passes behind the LoS he quit. His lack of focus was obvious in the drops, etc. He needs a change of scenery, wish the Bills hadn’t trusted him and gave him a contract that makes it almost impossible to offload him without hurting themselves in a bad way.
  6. ALL THIS! You can fill the roster out with replacement level guys when you have TRUE studs. KC won because they have the best player in the league at 3 different positions and one could argue Sneed makes it 4. The only place the Bills have anything near the best is Allen. Kincaid might get there, but not yet, Diggs was among the top WRs, but wasn’t this year (or the back half of last year either), if anyone says Oliver, you need your head checked. It can’t be Allen and a bunch of pretty good guys to unseat Mahomes , MaAuto and Mr. Jones, you ain’t keeping up.
  7. I doubt Jones will be a problem, but you just never know, it’s not hard for something to go wrong in the trenches. Also, like you said, he’s a BIG guy, a lot of stress on that body. For his sake, I hope he’s injury free forever, but we all know how the life of an NFL player can be altered in one step.
  8. Jones is one freak injury away from being the same problem Von is. I don’t wish that on him, but Von was a case of terrible luck.
  9. Rumors were they wanted a 1st round pick, which was never going to happen.
  10. I think people forget that he was a helmet tap away from being out for weeks, or maybe even done for good. I like the guy, but he’s got plenty of risk associated with him. I wouldn’t be shocked if the plan is to get a rookie to take C as McGovern was really solid at G last year, but at least this way, they can say they have a plan going into the draft. Quality Centers can be had fairly late in the draft.
  11. Dude can’t catch a pass from noodle armed QBs, forget it w JA. HARD PASS.
  12. Hope the incentives are the real money, FA is loaded w S, not sure what the rush to sign that turd burglar would be.
  13. I like it, but you have to feel he knew he would be cut if they didn’t work it out, I’m betting the offset language in his contract made it so he wasn’t going to make a whole lot more with a new team and he put out crap tape as and old, undersized, injured DE that had to be made inactive for crucial games. That’s not exactly the kind of stuff that gets you big deals. Doing this, he gets a chance to make his money, and come back for another decent chunk next year. It could be a win / win. He may also be cooked and lowered his own take when they send him packing this summer.
  14. That depends, do they replace him? Do they sign more FAs than they let walk? There’s a scenario where he could net you a pick, but I kinda doubt it’s a 3rd to be honest.
  15. Ya know, JA17 has a big cap hit and I bet we could get at least a 3rd rounder for him, we should consider trading him.
  16. True, might as well wait and see, just go post June 1 if he’s still less valuable on the field than he is being off it.
  17. But I thought it would be impossible to release Miller 😂
  18. I don’t love Dawkins at top end payment, but he’s good. Extending him looks like the best play to me.
  19. About McD? Nah, not really.
  20. Ahh the ole McDermott philosophy of someone being too valuable to let play, gotta love it. I don’t like seeing him go, but if doofus won’t play him, you can’t pay him.
  21. He’s the best of a really weak group behind Diggs. That’s not saying much. He should come into camp with plenty of competition and have to eat his spot, he’s proven exactly nothing yet. Had they taken that approach with Davis, he would have been pushed to the right role for hime, a #3.
  22. Makes sense, he’s a nice piece, but basically what Cook is and some return ability. As much as I like him on the team, not at 5M. If he’s back for 1.5 or so, I’m good with it.
