  1. Yes sir, working on it as well.... lost 40 last spring and then slipped on my diet and gained 30 of it or so back. Here we go again. -Jeff
  2. Yeah, I had just started to read the EM story and say Sullivan's smiling as...er.. face on the top of the page. Take the EM story with a large grain of salt. Perhaps a rock. -Jeff
  3. iTunes is just as easy (mac junky here... whoa.. watch out). The DRM stuff has never really bugged me. I listen to 'em on my iPod, and auth 'em on my computer at home and at work. I burn 'em to CD after I buy to archive anyways. Once they're burned to CD, they're fair game. I've also got my iPod setup as a second boot device so I can boot off of it if my machine crashes.. you can install OS X right on to 'em.
  4. I've no problem with speaking up at all. This was another topic of conversation that we had... is he just "good?" I know everyone I work with quite well and really don't have a reason to be insecure. But you're right, though. It probably just comes down to the fact that I'm not aggressive enough. Whereas I view a meeting as a forum for everyone to put forth their ideas and their thoughts, he views it as a forum to get one step ahead of "the competition." Perhaps a bit more care on my part as to now allow him the opportunity to chime in prior to finishing what I've got to say. -Jeff
  5. It's not that I'm looking for revenge, I'm just sick of this retard getting recognized for everything! He's done more to hurt this place.... oh the stories I could tell.
  6. I think perhaps "punching him in the teeth" might be the right approach.
  7. This ass has been here for seven years, one month less than I have. He's beat out a lot of good people. Employees and peers have left, quoting him as their reason when talking to their friends. He doesn't blatantly steal ideas. He won't stand up and say, "I had this great idea..." He'll jump at the chance to say stuff like, "another alternative would be...", or "perhaps we ought to look at." He won't give credit, and if I say something like, "yeah I thought of that too", I look like I don't have the ambition to bring it up - but he does - so he saved they day. It doesn't take long for new management to make him their "go to guy" because he's the one with all of the good ideas/thoughts/suggestions. We're all sure he's got this down to a science and does it on purpose. He's just a WORM.
  8. I like it, I like it...
  9. My boss is three months new, so this guy is busy getting his knees dirty. I'm hoping he'll see this guy as an arse kisser.
  10. There's this director type of another department that is the stereotypical corporate weasel. Will ask questions and nod and understand, but then call you out in front of your boss. Will ask for suggestions, disagree, and then bring them up as alternatives in meetings that you're in. I'm of the same level as this guy, calling him out is an option, but probably not the right one. He's a complete slime ball. Comments? Thoughts? -Jeff
  11. I'd think we'd come up about the same we did this year... look at some of the mistakes Drew has made. I would expect JP to make mistakes as well. Buffalo's offense doesn't call for a Manning, it calls for someone who can just go 4 quarters without making a mistake. Drew made mistakes.... JP would make mistakes. That said, I think we'd have another 9-7/10-6... It's really a wash I think. JP will bust out of a few more sacks, perhaps scramble for a few more yards - but at the same time, he'll make more bonehead decisions. Just my 2 cents.
  12. No, I think it's actually inertia.
  13. Based on some of the articles I've read, JP's go to guy will the the man who hands out the clipboards.
  14. Bah, I think someone else said it here, but any trailer park south of KY is full of 19 year olds that look just like Jessica Simpson, 'cept they're wearing less clothing. Ashley ain't so bad when she looses the Avril clothing. She used to have a reoccurring part on 7th Heaven, looked one hell of a lot different than she does out there on the stage. -Jeff
  15. I stopped just about a year and a half ago. Before that, I quit about three years ago... one worked, one didn't. Be careful with nicotine replacement. The first time I quit, I did it with gum. I chewed that junk for a year. The first day I was without a piece of gum, I jumped right back on the smokes. Gum and patches don't break the nicotine addiction, you're just getting your nicotine from a different place. If you're having trouble - talk to your Dr. and get some Zyban/Welbutrin. That's the stuff that finally did it for me. Stopped cold turkey on it and didn't even want to light back up. The good thing is that Zyban isn't a nicotine replacement, so if you DO cheat, you're cool. -Jeff
  16. My beliefs aside, I read that as "we just lost yesterday and we've no idea yet. You'll find out as the off-season progresses."
  17. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2005/foot...ex.html?cnn=yes
  18. If she's going to break out of the Indian pictures and into American scene, we'll be seeing a lot "more" of her!
  19. Bah, too bad he ran his mouth. There most definitely is the chance he'll be here next year. To top it off... we keep getting rid of players after I buy their jerseys. Damn it. Now I need to buy another damn jersey.
  20. I hear that. I want nothing to do with the NFL for a good nine months. Back to the days of OT, OT, and SUW. All the hype got me excited - just a further fall. To give credit where it's due, though - good job MM and company. Mularkey really had a good rookie season, more than I had expected. I would have been happy with 8-8. Going into next season we're closer than we were this season (F*#k me I'm sick of saying that!). To top it all the hell off, there's no hockey to watch. Screw you, NHLPA! :I starred in Brokeback Mountain: I agree with Nick. For right now... who cares who's fault it is. We'll revisit that after the adrenaline gland has backed off and there's no more taste for blood. -Jeff
  21. I second that. Cheap. Low. Childish. But VERY funny!
  22. You know, I don't care if it's NOT the Bills. AFC East representation is always nice. Pitt taking the win would fuel the "We got rid of MM and now we do better" folks down (er... UP) in PA. AS LONG AS ATLANTA doesn't win the big one. I couldn't stomach the welcome home parades and "HOT-LANTA rallies" I'd have to put up with. I'd probably pack up the family and move into a trailer back up in Colden or something just to escape. -Jeff
  23. 1000 =)
  24. Sorry, I just can't contain myself.... 999
  25. Yup yup! I've called the family and filled 'em in - they know they've got it on TV too. No cheese this weekend - I've got a KILLER cold. (Note that there's nothing wrong with blowing stuff up - I'm rather partial to it - I just don't remember seeing many folks doing it in Buff... )
