What Would You Give Up for Aubrey?
Don Otreply replied to st pete gogolak's topic in The Stadium Wall
Ah yes, Bills fans kicker obsession rearing it’s ugly head…, -
Davis’s prized production over four seasons boils down to about a dozen games, he was hit or miss throughout his time here, his catch rate was overall not so good, he was injured every season and his play while playing injured wasn’t remarkable, by the time he left with no offer on the table from the Bills his production was quite sad. Nice guy and all but he has peaked as a player and is very likely looking at the horizon of his career, I guess we are going to disagree on this, but that’s just fine, 👍
-
He was miss assigned as a #2 WR, played his best as a WR 3/4, when he was basically an afterthought for our opponents, and had Diggs Brown & Beasley drawing all the attention, he had his shinny moments, but there are lots of up coming pass catchers coming into the league annually that are cheaper and likely have better hands,

Only the game that I want to watch, screw all the other teams fans…, 🤣

Josh insists on his style of play like it or not, on top of that, both our GM and HC have implored him to stop taking unnecessary hits for several seasons, he now has started to take this advise to heart and has been sliding with far more regularity, there is nothing that can be done about the past, and again football is a purposeful violent hitting sport, stop pretending it is otherwise, nuthin but luv from one fan to another, 😁👍 GO BILLS!!!

Flexed to 1:00 pm, yah baby, 😁🍸🚬

Nuthin but luv, but, “by the numbers” is he running more? The numbers say no, the allocation of resources is to be openly debated,I have complained regularly that they don’t do enough to protect him or supply enough weapons, but Josh is a QB who runs the ball, that was the case the day he got here, and has been modified by him sliding and taking less hits, even the 26 yard run into the end zone he was hit once and that wasn’t particularly hard, all the other guys that tried to tackle him out and out missed him, except one who bounced off him, we all watched it repeatedly. Buy the contact standard that you just espoused they should shut down the league, lol, football is a heavy contract sport, always has been, 😁👍
-
But is he by the numbers, carrying the ball more? His last four KC games he has run the ball between 10 & 12 times, so…, When Allen has run this season he has been sliding and taking less hard hits, in fact some here have spouted off that because Allen is being smarter, that he has lost a step, as silly as that is,

Saul Saul Saul, you sound more and more desperate with every post, time to punch out and go home…,

Giants are releasing QB Daniel Jones (future backup to Josh Allen)

I’m just guessing here…, but I suspect it’s, he shot his wad, but I could be off base 🤣 -

Agree, he was a bad draft pick, had minor success and his re-signing was total buffoonery move on behalf of their GM & HC , -
I guess they need to blame someone for their football anxiety attacks…,
-
Of course it was injury, look how conservative McDermott is with players that are recovering from injury, he doesn’t push anyone back into playing a high percentage of snaps until they are good to go, it fruitless to do otherwise,

Claymore mines, 👍

Damn young people wanting their own rally songs, get off my lawn! 😁👍🍸🚬

I suspect KC is going to feed our D line a steady diet of Pacheco and Hunt, along with their standard passing game, we will need to contain both the run and passing attacks, which I believe we will, fingers crossed 🤞 that we get as many guys healthy and up to speed as possible, that will go a long way towards the Bills controlling the clock and winning.

It’s really quite simple, they will put MM in for a given percentage of snaps and see how he does, and in theory increase that percentage as his fitness increases, to the point of him playing the majority of snaps, you are correct in that he may or may not see action against SF, I think he will see at least some playing time, jmo.
