  1. You're incorrect about the NFL cap rule.... sorry pal, even if we're interested or not
  2. I've asked you this before (for other trades you've brought up), but when you're not dreaming/fantasizing about trades and back to reality.... How do we fit Deebos cap hit under our current situation? Unless 49ers convert almost all of his $20m salary to bonus (hence they eat more dead cap), it's just not possible as I see.it. On top of that, if 49ers ate more dead cap, it will likely take more than pick 33 to get him. I'll let you explain now.
  3. There's been way too many "trade proposals", be it JJ, Aiyuk, Higgins...now Deebo. Fans need to remember that we need to fit said player under our current cap, BEFORE we renegotiate a new deal. So even if the "price is right", it's technically not possible unless Beane somehow generates the needed cap. And FYI, Deebos 2024 cap hit is HUGE.
  4. I mean is he supposed to, what do you expect him to say? Obviously he got what he considered fair/good value in the the trade backs and looks forward to having 3 picks tomorrow. You are very hyper with trades and reading into things when nothing is there
  5. Lots of very good WRs left.... If someone told us 2 weeks ago that we'd move back and get a 3rd, high 5th and still be able to draft AD or others...I think many would be happy. This immediate reaction is kinda crazy when nobody knows how these guys will play out in the NFL...at least we have better draft picks to hit on tomorrow
  6. To everyone getting upset, Beane knew who KC was drafting. He clearly didn't want Worthy there, against my wishes and others. Now it's time to see who we would have taken at 28 anyhow (and get better draft capital tomorrow). I'm not ruling out another tradeback either...
  7. I thought Worthy would be a star with us, KC just got a great player. Beane obviously didn't feel the same, and they must have someone (or two) ranked higher or similar. Let's see who we take at 32. Getting into the 3rd round, at 95 is a great spot. Gives flexibility in Rd 2 to go alot of directions
  8. Agree, just thought Barton was almost a sure thing. Mims was there guy, I was told, so they stuck with drafting a LT (who can kick inside). So not knocking them for that, just shocked as Mims and Barton were very highly connected to Steelers.
  9. Shocked by that Steelers pick...he's versatile though.
  10. Steelers never thought Q Mitchell would be there.... This is between him and Barton I'm told
  11. I'd suspect DL for Rams and Steelers now to take Barton (Mims was there guy)
  12. Steelers won't ve happy with Bengals pick
  13. I had doubts he's the "consensus" #4 receiver. He wasn't that high during season. I think this next tier of WRs is very good, but so diverse and specific scheme fits that will work for certain teams. Won't be shocked if Jax selects BTJ at 23, or if he slides to end of Rd 1 or early Rd 2. Going to be very good WRs when we pick, or if we move back
  14. Cincy and Rams make alot of sense, for DL picks. Value will certainly be there.
  15. To be fair, the offensive talent is WAY better at the top this year. I wouldn't come to any conclusion beyond that. QBs and OTs are always top of draft, difference this year is that the best pass rusher and best CB are ranked in the teens.
  16. We spent ALOT of time with Worthy, Coleman, and teammates at Texas & FSU. We shall see. I know the Franklin hype has been popular, but people forget how good Coleman was and obviously Worthy
  17. No way, although I hope for Bills case. Trubisky was a 1 year wonder, Maye could have been a high pick LY. He wasn't as good this year, but some changes coaching/Wrs occurred that contributed. Maye / Herbert comps are pretty spot on.
  18. My Steeler insider is saying: 1. Steelers - going tackle, which I've mentioned a few times 2. Bills - not sure I trust him on this, but he's hearing Keon Coleman
  19. Agree on Allen, but we need to fit him under contract "immediately" upon trading for him. Unless Min wants to wait until after June 1st....
  20. Let's play this out.... how do we afford JJ ATM? We don't have the cap space.
  21. Marvin Harrison Jr - Cardinals Rome Odunze - Giants Ladd McConkey - Patriots Brian Thomas Jr. - 49ers Xavier Worthy - Dallas Bonus Bills pick: Keon Coleman
  22. Not necessarily to Buffalo.... Keon Coleman. He was ranked right on the cusp, as a top 5 WR during/after this college season. Then he runs a slow forty at the Combine, and others jumped ahead. I think there's a chance he will go toward the end of Rd1
  23. Great work @GunnerBill as always. I've got one team connection, Steelers, and Mims is the guy from what im told. Re: Bills, im really hoping Worthy and Thomas are on the board at our pick. At 28, or a small tradeup, to see who they truly value more. I am in the Worthy camp myself, and draft/sign another WR later. Should be a fun night. Thanks for all you've shared/work on draft prep
