It is kind of nice to see that some of the OL who would have been starters last year are now delegated to secondary roles. That is the kind of depth achieved in such a short time. In the case of Bates, he does provide versatility, either now or as a developmental player. I didn't see the game, but there are obviously glowing reports across the entire line. The more the pre season plays out, I would not be surprised to see McDermott make additional moves if it means putting the best team on the field.

Edmunds sure has enough power for hits like that. Joseph does it like it is part of his dna.

The Bills are surely going to address the problem in the 2020 draft...if not sooner. You can only hide for so long.

I was a server in Lewiston, NY in the mid 1980's. Every Wednesday for six months, I waited on this same couple. I used to bring them extra portions, free wine and everything else. The problem was that they never tipped me. I started to feel awkward like there was something wrong with me. Finally one evening, I followed them to their car and asked them why they never tipped. The man turned and threw a Canadian dollar at me! They never came back.

This will probably be a regular Sunday occurrence!

I agree. Joseph is extremely talented. He just needs experience and good coaching. I can't see the Bills getting rid of him. We may be looking at a future star...not a scrub.

Oh yeah...he would definitely be snatched up by another team. Now that you mentioned it, most scouts did not mention the fact that the Gator Linebackers had the autonomy to act on their own. That may explain some of the recklessness.

If Wade continues like this, we may be having a different RB conversation in the near future!

Another member here pointed that out. Start Joseph on special teams, then gradually give him more assignments until he has the confidence of the coaching staff.

I have read some scouting reports stating that he has a tendency to roam and even create his own zones. Joseph will benefit from strong coaching of course, and as one scout said, "You may have to staple a $50 bill on each page of his playbook to get his attention!"

Give Joseph some time. He just effortlessly lays people out! He just needs to work on his game! I like the toughness that he brings.

Your right...could of Been any combination of things. Perhaps just a change of scenery and the climate surrounding this team.
