  1. Man...lets hope not!
  2. Under the guise of a nameless band, U2 make an excellent album entitled "Passengers" in 1995. It was an imaginary soundtrack with an ambient/progressive sound. I loved Led Zeppelin when I was young...Albums 1-4 and then Kashmir! That song helped elicit a few kicks and long week ends!
  3. Journey sold out for corny pop after "Wheel in the sky" and "Genesis" did as well.
  4. I have no idea what genre all of that crap fell under. It sounded silly...just as bad as David Lee Roth singing "Might as well jump!"
  5. They had no business being "Genesis" anymore!
  6. Some of Phil Collins songs were used effectively to evoke a mood on shows like Miami Vice. In the Air tonight, I don't care anymore to name a few.
  7. I have no idea what the Bills are going to do...if at all! Clowney would be a great addition.
  8. I dont think Beane is going to do that. If they want Clowney, it is for the present and future tense.
  9. Collins went too far at times. He ran with an original progressive idea and commercialized the heck out of it. A sound that once fostered imagination and transcendence, could now be found reworked at local clubs!
  10. We do what we're told!
  11. Gabriel was the man. Yes he had a much more darker and introspective sound, but that was his trademark...progressive rock wasnt intended to be a cheery top 40 sound.
  12. Thats it in a nut shell!
  13. The Journey debut album was excellent. It sounded nothing like the commercial music they would later produce.
  14. I agree if Clowney bought in to what the Bills were building and he found himself a vital part. It is easy to connect the dots to Gaine, but it doesnt hurt.
  15. They were both good...each bringing their own sound. Gabriel provided a darker, ambient and progressive sound. Collins more of a mainstream pop sound.
  16. These "evaluations" sound all the same to me...like a script. Any member of this forum can evaluate players rather well.
  17. Oh absolutely! This is all speculative at best. This story has been "trending" for months.
  18. I understand that. That is why I stated earlier that any deal for Clowney would contain an understanding on both sides, or if the Bills were convinced that he would. Why trade for a player if your not certain you can sign him. If the Bills did trade for Clowney...it would be for the long haul.
  19. Yes it would have, but Beane probably found it necessary to stick to his draft board. Now that preseason is here, the Bills have a much better idea of what this team is and how to move forward.
  20. I remember this argument at draft time. Clowney in all probability is better now than any DE that we would draft in 2020 and he is a proven player. It seems like he has been around for years, yet he is only 26. He would probably fit in the Bills defense seamlessly.
  21. High draft picks worry me.
  22. The not knowing...uncertainty is the tough part.
  23. Yes...the man is a play maker. We need play makers! We need to get after people and stay after them.
  24. Not the greatest "numbers" but Clowney is an athletic and disruptive presence. Add him to the mix of Oliver, Edmunds and Milano...what a defensive net of speed and athleticism!
