  1. So, this is certainly no surprise right? That would leave?
  2. At least you have an honest opinion...everyone seems to have such a guarded response because we have seen so little of Wade to determine anything.
  3. Well...there may be exceptions like Gruden!
  4. Welcome from across the pond. To be honest with you, I am still confused myself. While I do understand that it is good for a player like Wade to be acclimated to the NFL game for a year, what if his performance in the pre season begs otherwise? I don't really know if the Bills can roll the dice.
  5. That's Gruden's boy...a 1st rounder wouldn't be enough! ?
  6. That is definately an interesting family...different than the norm. My father owned horse farms all over NYS and he raced them. It was a different time.
  7. No...I was never pressured in to a life in the circus. Ha! My late grandfather liked the circus and I went with him a few times. Have your children kept in touch at all with the Carnies?
  8. Well anyway, I like myself, and I found the analogy "shot out of a cannon" funny! Yes, just from the brief glimpse of Wade, he appears preserved.
  9. I like myself pretty much...but thats not what happened. Some times when I respond too quickly, they group together...has that happened to you? I responded to the other poster with a laugh.
  10. Shot out of a cannon? ha! haven't heard that in years! It did look that way! Well said. The wear and tear factor may not apply to Wade. I need to see more of him.
  11. What difference does it make anyway. If a man can still play at a high level, who cares if he is 23 or 30? It also depends on the team and system and how the rb will be employed.
  12. Based on his run the other day, I would have to believe that he has a few good years left. The man invests in himself and appears to be in remarkable shape.
  13. It may seem that way. However, we all know that men age differently and Wade's legs have not been subjected to a prolonged NFL pounding. I don't know much about rugby...is it as gruelling on the body as NFL football?
  14. Yeah...when they found him in the 5th round they may have been ecstatic. Joseph is the kind of player they can mold in their system.
  15. Sounds like they don't care. There is usually an a hole on every block.
  16. The talent is there! He needs direction!
  17. Ha! I can relate to the White trash couples, fighting, bags of recyclables on the lawn, malnourished dogs etc! ?
  18. I know. Give him time. His talent is unquestionable.
  19. I remember sheer ice patches, cliff drop offs and low visibility and very few guard rails at the time. I had a Suburu Forrester awd that did a good job. Flagstaff is a dark place as well. Limited street lights and dim lamps in the residential areas.
  20. They ski at the Snowbowl? I worked there for a bit! Yes, the weather is similar to Buffalo. Driving down Snowbowl road at night in the winter can be challenging!
  21. I suppose you are right. Get Wade grounded for the transition. He is still a young man, but if he continues to play like this, the Bills may have to revise the plan...flip the script!
  22. It is a great program to get them acclimated to the NFL, but what if Wade explodes the remainder of the pre season and we have this incredible weapon that has to wait instead of helping the team. One thing we are getting good at is patience.
  23. And Oliver will only get better...just the kind of play maker the D needs!
  24. Yeah, that was the knock on him at Wyoming! ha!
