    I agree. So much rides on Allen. Stopping the run would go a long way as well.

    The excellent and enduring run/pass blocking of the Patriots continues to amaze me. It is really helping to preserve Brady.

    I like Trapasso's optimism and the fact that he has done his homework on the Bills...I would say it qualifies him to make such an assessment The Bills need to get off to a good start and play as mistake free as possible.

    I didn't either. I read his SI columns. I always thought he had a good and neutral point of view. I liked his mocks. Evidently he was doing some free lancing later on.

    I understand that John Brown has some potential health issues. but if he stays healthy he is a viable threat. Allen likes a deep ball so it should be a good connection. There will be some highlight plays!

    I remember Mcgahee's first season running the ball. I almost winced every time he made a carry...it was like I was waiting for his knee to collapse. I still had this vivid image of the injury.

    I suppose it is the shock value of what an individual human being is capable of...the violence directed at others. Fascinating but no longer a shock.

    I forgot Columbine yesterday, perhaps one of the more horrific. Going to have to Google the name of the guy who shot up Las Vegas. It is sad...these events have taken on an almost trivial backseat.

    Eli had a few solid and great years leading of course to Super Bowl victories. These accomplishments certainly solidified him as great quarterback during those seasons, but his play was too sporadic over the years.

    I hear you. We had Whitman in 1966, Huberty in the 80's and now it seems like every week we have a new shooter. I remember those two names but none of the others.

    Yes, of course Allen can. I expect good things from him. I was obviously using Mahomes as an example of how fast a QB can evolve in today's game. Success can be measured on an individual's circumstances and the organization/team that he plays on as well.
