  1. Has anyone ever considered that knox might have a lot on his mind? He just lost his brother right before the season started. I’ll give him a bit of a pass for the slow start.
  2. A lot of us could see it coming. The neglect at oline could be our undoing this season. Signing an aging vet to a one year deal and an overachiever to a 4 year deal isn’t gonna get it done.
  3. Time to spend high picks on the oline.
  4. Shocker…the 5 worst grades were oline.
  5. Beane is already scouting the first round safeties. Patience…🙄
  6. If you think ours is ok and just want to argue, then whatever. I see a line that could use upgrades at all but two spots. If you don’t hold the same opinion then good for you.
  7. I totally agree. I was never once impressed by the “depth” at oline. Dawkins and Morse are our only steady players in the entire group. Everyone else could be upgraded. It really is a shame that Beane and McD patch a line together and don’t try to make it elite for our franchise qb. I think it’s this shortsighted mistake that could cost us more this year than anything on defense.
  8. You do understand that oline is a glaring weakness too, right?
  9. Bingo! Agree 100%. Outside of Ford, this regime has failed to use premium draft capital on offensive linemen. Yes, they signed Morse and the previous regime drafted Dawkins, but the rest has been underwhelming. The bad thing is that we have a qb like Allen and he doesn’t really get sustainable resources put into the line. This off-season needs to be all about the offensive line and adding some more speed outside of cook.
  10. It should have never come to this.
  11. Wonder when they are gonna address the depth on the oline?
  12. My main argument is they need to draft more offense and do it earlier in the draft.
  13. I agree 100%. There are some on here that don’t ever want to hear criticism about McD. I respect the guy for helping us get back to being relevant, but I want more. I want him to hike up his pants and dig in in clutch situations. I want him to put more emphasis on the offensive line. I just feel like it’s not horrible to have some doubts, especially after the 13 second debacle.
  14. Well…you basically listed the only two that are worth being excited about. That said…Davis has a good chance, but needs to stay healthy. Cook has potential, but he could go either way. Out line is a problem. It just is. Dawkins is good and so is Morse. After that, we can upgrade on the other three positions. In fact, who knows how long Morse will stick it out? Might be wise to look for a center prospect sooner rather than later. The draft needs to be heavy on offensive line this year.
  15. Listen…I like McD. He’s a good culture guy. I just question his abilities in big moments. He is the James Franklin of pro football to me. Great rah rah guy, culture builder, and motivator, but leaves a lot to be desired in game situations.
  16. I don’t think it’s for the reasons you listed. I think people are starting wake up to the fact that we have almost nothing on offense beyond Allen and Diggs while the defense is loaded from top to bottom. Our line is average at best. At best. Saffold hasn’t been good and Bates might be better suited as a backup. There wasn’t any competition brought in for bates this off-season. He was handed the job. Not only that, but the depth talent is very low. Bottom line is we haven’t done enough to take the line to the next level. Heck, our qb is our leading rusher almost week in and week out. Im also concerned about the receiver depth. We took Shakir, who is inactive. We did take cook and I’m still a little surprised we did that, but I like him. It was a breath of fresh air. Now we need to keep adding weapons in case Davis or Diggs go down. We still have almost no speed at all.
  17. Is it a bad take because you don’t agree with it?
  18. Good points It’s called bad oline depth.
  19. We need to invest heavily on the offensive line this off-season.
  20. This is sarcasm right?
  21. You missed the point…we weren’t running the ball well the first two games and it goes back as far as most of last season.
  22. That’s the point. Why isn’t there an oline at this point? Don’t even start talking about injuries. We haven’t been able to run for more than just this season.
  23. I don’t disagree. I have been really down on McD since the 13 seconds. I feel he crapped his pants in a huge moment and doesn’t get enough criticism for it. I’m fact, the sight of him makes me a little queasy. That said…he’s our best option. He has helped build the team and deserves a lot of the credit. However…I wish he would push for more offensive help to take some of the burden off Allen.
  24. Agree. They had two shots at it and didn’t use him on third or fourth downs. But they run him in blowout wins. Can’t make it up…
  25. He slipped man…I’d bet he doesn’t slip every time.
