  1. Yes but it was a walk through not a real practice
  2. Detroit silver and light blue is one of the best looks in NFL. Black looks terrible.
  3. R u sure? I think 2nd tie breaker is common opponents and that is Ravens, Colts, Jets, and Chiefs. Like I said in another thread very likely we are rooting for Chiefs on Christmas day!
  4. I think the worry is that McDermott's decisions may be blinded by something else. In particular Hamlin's death and recovery, and then whatever beef he has with Elam that may not be performance related(pure speculation). Our issues are he sticks with guys like Trent Murphy who are so bad they aren't even in the league after starting for three years. And then there is Teller and Peterman. He has had enough horrible personel decisions that it is not unreasonable to question his decisions.
  5. McD seemed a bit short, testy, and defensive in his PC. Don't think he likes being questioned about Elam. Then admits his team didn't have the intensity to match Rams. Easy to blame the coaches but these guys are professionals. They should not need to be motivated to play. Even I give McD a pass on that. Followed by we are "having a darn good season". He said the same thing after KC playoff loss last January. I think he has heard the quips about wasting Allen... Media narrative is changing on how good his defense is to how he is wasting Allen...
  6. Same thing as it has been for four years... Coaching Lack of pass rush Injuries
  7. I think he still leads the team in playoff INTs. Give the kid a chance.
  8. Hope so! This week i worry more about defending them than actually running them.
  9. Smoot would be huge. Pretty sure he moved ahead of Epenesa on depth chart before he was hurt. Spector probably takes Buffalo Joe spot. Spector can at least play MLB in a pinch.
  10. Germany is next on my list of European countries to see. There are better cities and places to see in Germany than Berlin, but I would probably go to this game if Bills were in it.
  11. It will never be pay per view. I'd be ok with an overseas SuperBowl. 99.9% of common fans can't afford SuperBowl tickets anwyas and are watching from home. The crowd is always celebs and corporate folks anyways.
  12. Yeah I think this is correct. Since we are 0-1 against Ravens and at worst they would be 1-1, I think the Steelers win the tie breaker.
  13. This is so true. OJ ran 143.1 yards per game which is 12 yards per game more than Dickerson. Saquon is having a great season but he is only averaging 124.8 yards per game. That is not even top 10 in NFL history. It's currently 14th. OJ has two seasons in the top 6.
  14. Its amazing what a great WR can do for an offense. Cooper got 14 targets just like a #1 should. Not this BS of everyone eats.
  15. If Bills go 3-1, KC would need to go 1-3 to catch them. That isn't happening. At this point you may need to win out just to stay at #2. There is a very good chance we are rooting for KC in week 16 to beat the Steelers.
  16. I get it. I would choose a different path but I understand where you and others are coming from.
  17. Outstanding!
  18. I understand but there are more things in life than money. On the flip side( I love arguing with myself) college basketball is not nearly as popular as it was 20 years ago even for teams like Kentucky, UNC, Duke and certainly teams from the former BigEast
  19. I thought within 1 yard of LOS this was allowed. Its close enough to not make the call.
  20. If I'm UNC, I say no. They are a basketball school with a decent football program. UNC is an excellent academic school. Stay in your lane and be who you are. Chasing some football success threatens your core identity. It's not worth it
  21. Ok he is very good. 35 points is an arbitrary cut off. Bills defense only gave up 22 points against Texans in the playoff game but it was a complete defensive collapse in the second half. Last year Bills defense gave up game losing drives to Jets and Patriots. Both under 35 points. I assume you are including Bills Eagles from last year where D gave up 37 points. In that game Josh walked off the field with the lead twice and the D lost it both times. I will give McDermott some credit. He owns the Dolphins. One of a few teams his scheme holds up well. I actually hope we get the Chiefs in the playoffs. I am much more afraid of what Bengals, Chargers, and Ravens would do to Bills defense. With Josh and this offense all we need is slight below average defensive play and they can beat anyone. What Josh can't overcome is terrible special teams and abysmal defense like we saw last weekend.
  22. It's not one week. That's the issue. It's the pattern. Everything that a fan should worry about with this team was on display in one game. Terrible defense all around. No pass rush. Can't stop the run. Couldn't stop 3rd down. Bad coaching. Horrible coaching. Another decent QB with a good HC shredding the defense. Even a little QB accuracy issues in the first half. We've seen this all before. Our only hope is Allen is superhuman and we get a few lucky bounces on defense in the playoffs. On a positive note, they actually successfully ran a High School screen play! It looked beautiful with a little eye candy fake pass to Shakir to the right and perfect blocking to the left. As good of a screen we have seen since the KGun.
  23. This is a good post. I grew up on Bruce Smith, Reggie White, and guys like LT, Lott, and Derrick Thomas. I don't remember their great moments in the playoffs or SuperBowl except for Bruce Smith safety that could have been a TD. Perhaps it is just nostalgia. Maybe they were so good it forced teams to double and triple team them which opened up opportunities for others. But I really liked what you said. If you are going to have a bunch of really good but not great players, they just can't disappear for entire games or stretches of the season.
  24. Wilfork is HOF eligible. Richard Seymour is in the HOF. Ty law is in the HOF. McGinest was a HOF finalist I believe. Harrison is a HOF finalist. All not there during the entire dynasty but certainly for some of it. Rousseau makes PFF stats and not a lot of actual plays. I do like him as a player. He is just horribly inconsistent. Zero impact yesterday. Even Von made more impact than Rousseau yesterday. Taron is a great player and probably 2nd most skilled player on the team. Maybe 3rd after Cooper now. Bernard is wonderful but still has size limitations. Beane has tried but the just has not been able to find a true star on the DL.
  25. I'm sure the same thing was said in Tampa Bay in 2002
