Jesus Archuleta is brutal. He is wrong about everything. Allen looked off the safety perfectly. The video replay guy times it perfectly as Josh looked to his right Archuleta is saying he is staring to his left. Moron.
I think the Brown criticism is warranted but in this last game he was quite a bit better than he had been. I also found 4 negative plays but he also had some really good 1:1 blocks where they left him on an island.
Thought it was one of his better games. He doesn't need to be elite just serviceable for another year so they can focus on LG, future C, and WR early in the draft.
He was playing ok until these last two games when he has been really bad.
Hopefully he turns it around.
Short sleeves? Who wore short sleeves on the 90s teams? I remember Bruce a few times. Other than that I cant think of many. Kelly, Thurman, Reed, Talley, Tasker, Lofton, and Bennett certainly never did. Maybe Odomes did now that I think of it.
You left out one statistic. They were 1-1 in the two games you pointed out. So OMG they gave up 200 yards AND LOST has a lot more meaning than how you describe it.
Yup. They should be in 4-3 much more than usual.
If Basham was playing you could even play some 5-2 by kicking him inside.
Will be interesting to see what Frazier does now that he is down to 3 DEs. Does Oliver and/or Settle play some DE? Does Edmunds? I'd rather see something creative instead of just bringing up some PS bum to take snaps at DE.
I don't know Tim Couch, Joey Harrington and Akili Smith come immediately to mind as bigger busts than Wilson.
And that is just QB's - I'm looking at you Tony Mandarich
But will they play him at center? I like him in the pivot too but so far this season they have been reluctant to move him there. Correct me if I am wrong even in Miami they did not move him to center when they were down to the third string.
I was at that Green Bay game too. I was left underwhelmed by the supposed mystique of Lambeau Field. It's just an old worn out bad stadium with bad food and bad bathrooms
Milano got screwed
Morse is good but he is not first team ProBowl center
Bass is having a great year but Tucker has the name recognition and the nasty stare
He's a talented QB with zero supporting cast. I love how the board mocks other QBs and forget where we were just a short time ago.
His 2021 and 2022 stats are for the most part (QB rating, comp %, less INTs) better than Allen's 2018 and 2019 stats. He is better in year 2 than year 1 just like Allen was.
The question will be can he make the tremendous improvement in year 3 that Allen did. Not many QBs in the history of the game have done that.
As for strategy. I never liked using a spy. No player on the Bills D can run with him. You are better off playing your base defense, try to keep him in the pocket and force him to throw to a below average group of wideouts.
