  1. It is very much make or break; if we get steam rolled or are in an uncompetitive mindset and get manhandled it won’t last long. I can see how it’s growing pains for McDermott as well never winning a game where he has trailed and going 0-4 against Belichek it’s like Paul Johnson against Georgia. Although, in all honesty kind of surprised we didn’t try to bring in Johnson as a running game consultant or analyst a position Juan Castillo had held.
  2. 0-4 lifetime against Belichek putting in a Carolina cast off in Anderson. As well never winning a game in which he’s trailed ouch. No feel good fourth quarter stories.
  3. Blood in the streets from Vegas to Boston and frustration and rage.
  4. They are in the playoffs and we were out a long time ago. I don’t think Lynn would’ve held onto Peterman that long.
  5. That’s the problem and New England Ian not the greatest team of all time. They cheated and when Kraft and Goodell are gone this little empire crumbles. Wonder what happens to all those safe books in Vegas?
  6. Richard Farrelly who took an out of State plea deal due to his relations with “Whitey” Bulger became his public relations executive and director. I understand that takes a little bit of reading so I did it for you.
  7. Told Aaron Hernandez to stay in the closet. Just going to assume there’s an EOE violation but hey they wrap themselves up in faux-Patriotism and have been the safest bet in Vegas for years. Along with that Kraft and Goodell go back to Detroit with colors of Purple twine.
  8. Would have been ruined here as Whaley and Nix had told Graham (as they did not see him starting) not to study the playbook as they would not be starting. Literally, the general manager and his assistant had that much pull. Billy Jo-Hobert in management at that time.
  9. We didn’t have a center who could call the blocking assignments. Juan knew it and he worked with what he was given. All we could hope for is that someone would come through or maybe they would make a splash with limited cap resources on the offensive line. They didn’t make much of a splash and went for Star and Murphy who are rotational at best and Murphy is still unproven without performance enhancing drugs. Even with injury Trent Murphy performed so far below expectations it was evident he was in McDermott’s dog house. Star is a marginally adequate rotational tackle; who at times is prone to miscommunication and missing his gap and shade assignments.
  10. So when do they fire the receivers and tight-ends Coaches for players dropping balls along with Zay Jones failing to live up to expectations? Players did not even have full concentration on making catches. It feels like to me someday it might be Sean McDermott running out of scapegoats and firing Castillo is that point for me which has me more then a little worried; who will come here knowing that they can be fired for being out of sync with rubbish offensive linemen?
  11. Running game was dominant last season even with the infamous Rick Dennison calling the plays. Which means Castillo dealing with injured running backs and offensive linemen retiring became a fan service fire. Completely out of sync given how much Allen suffered from receivers and tight-ends dropping balls. McDermott does feel pressured by fans (benching Tyrod for Peterman) this was unexpected as Juan Castillo deserves more credit; for what unit cohesion he got out of his rag tag line. As for the running game he didn’t really have much to work with. My question is this; what happens for the future if McDermott has to change his staff completely from fan or ownership engaging into heated pressuring? Will the teams dynamic fizzle out as a result; in a completed collapse of the process?
  12. Where do we go from here? Do, we have any offensive line coaches in mind?
  13. https://www.google.com/amp/s/billswire.usatoday.com/2019/01/01/charles-clay-on-buffalo-bills-future-i-cant-control-it/amp/ Controlling the future actually means catching the ball and living up to the pro-bowl status you once had.
  14. Nobody wants to come out and say Zay Jones is a depth chart dead end and second round bust. Whose pretty much being beaten out for playing time and on targets by McKenzie and Foster. Along with Jason Croom who makes smart decisions (I know the whole Pats fumble thing; but remember when he pounced on a Zay Jones fumble for six?) I still say now Foster is emerging as a talent; while Zay plays well when the pressures off him. McDermott has pretty much already pulled the trigger on flipping Zay for draft picks next season or at the draft. Allen has looked great despite the supposed “inaccuriries” largely occurring; with putting a ball where only the receiver could get it, and the receivers pretty much proving they are not ready for prime time. Charles Clay as well is a healthy scratch not just from games but practices as well; after his case of the drops and well into this season I think his attitude is not buying into the process but largely just wanting to stick around for his contract.
  15. Another Coleman though his son is on the horizon. Very connected down South kind of makes me think of Carlos Marcello albeit with a strain of Purple like the Kraft and Goodell families in Detroit.
  16. We had a chance to blow out New England if Zay Jones and Robert Foster would not have lost concentration or proved that they simply could not live up to the #1 and #2 status put on them. You had Clay dropping balls (along with being a healthy scratch since the first Miami loss) had Daboll and Allen finding the weaknesses to eke our last minute wins let down by sloppy ill-timed drops because they were scared of getting hit. But, you have elevated practice squad in Foster and a depth chart near dead end in Zay whose noticeably better when the pressures off of him to actually perform. After yesterday Daboll and Castillo have every right to be here. They work with young guys and guys like Groy who completely crumbled under the pressure. Both of those games could have been closer; the reviving corps with Zay Jones becoming a second round bust and shining albeit when the pressures off makes him a depth chart dead end. Zay’s not progressing and finding the clutch way to pull off a one handed grab or making a spectacular diving catch; just a future journey man whose traded up and down or flipped for draft picks. I hate saying it like that but it’s true.
  17. McDermott has ups and downs like every other Head Coach. Right now it’s about finding what can make Zay Jones and Robert Foster make those clutch grabs as they did against Miami. Otherwise, looking at Croom whose a clutch guy even with the New England fumble anyone else remember how he scooped up Zay’s fumble against the Jets and turned it into six? Smart player, good heads up decision making, and has a work ethic like Metzellars and Carwell Gardner. Logan Thomas yesterday made that kid from Miami a Christmas Tree with how hard he lit him up. It’s a young team gelling together not everyone’s going to be a super star.
  18. It’s not Daboll’s fault he and Allen found so many openings and weaknesses. It’s not Castillo’s fault Beane went for Murphy and Star on McDermott’s whims. Hit and miss with both Star and Trent providing veteran leadership and a firm foundation in the rotational room. Juan is formulating his offensive linemen though and they are felling as a unit. Dissiapointing that so many players literally dropped off the line and didn’t even develop Groy is a catalyst of that. So much talent and yet, he’s completely lost; one might say it’s a psychological block and that’s all you can say.
  19. That kid is so lit up; Logan Thomas plugged him in and made him a Christmas Tree! A good clean hit like that; love seeing that energy!
  20. Folks are still frustrated he stuck with Peterman; then wanted and got underachievers in Star and Trent when the offensive line needed bolstering. Which meant going through and finding a rotation on the defensive line and defensive end positions. The limited salary cap space also did not help in the carry over from Whaley. Would we have found younger ends and tackles as we’ve had to do and would they still be more talented than Star or Trent? It’s hard telling but I’d say keep him for another year and see if you can offload Trent and Star for draft picks. I would say as well known of the staff should be fired; specifically Daboll. We saw what could happen yesterday when receivers actually caught balls, managed to play up to their clutch levels, and to be honest if they had not it means trading them off. Croom did fine as well and is developing into a good second tightend in sets.
  21. And, a whole bunch of Notre Dame secondary and offensive linemen have become late round draft picks. Borqued Kelly struck again.
  22. We can take a good defensive linemen in Tolen Avery in fifth or sixth round. Guy is going very definition of a run clogger who forces negative yardage situations on running backs. Very much like Kyle Williams and a good pickup with work ethic. Playing for the Liberty University Flames he is very much a diamond in the rough but the type of talent we need. Would take Jelks in the first to give the edge rush some teeth on it. As for defensive tackle Dexter Lawerence’s is trending down out of the first round second or third. Like I said before folks the games have not been played and draft stock can trend down in the combine so it’s hard telling where the chips will fall.
