NFL Week #6 - Bills at the Chiefs - 1st half game thread
WideNine replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
This. On those blitzes off the slot cover guys we need our TEs to take advantage of those vacated areas. And mismatches. -

With the Chiefs blitzing in the red zone we should run the ball... their guys in man will have their backs to the line. -

For not tieing his shoes or did he miss a block? -

Perhaps.... seemed behind. But McKenzie I think is supposed to delay then come inside. That delay was that weird stumble step he did. Good chance McKenzie screwed up that timing route. -

Not getting deep enough on the pitch and not ready for it... ...and he Allen are definitely not on the same page. -

Funny when safeties and DBs argue when they are THAT early on a DPI. -

Taron is a bit of a liability in the slot covering... better coming up in run support. They do need to always have someone on Kelce.... -

That hold on the run set us back then zip on the rollout that Allen had to throw away. Dorsey and our defense has shown a penchant for great adjustments at half time... we will see. -

Allen is still playing a little hot... McKenzie nearly got killed on that. -

Allen always seems to need to mix it up a bit and take a few punches to level out his adrenaline. He's done that and let's see if the Bills can turn it loose. Think those pin and pull runs might be out there with all the zone KC is playing.... Let's go!! -

My blood pressure nearly killed me. CBS teases Bills Chiefs all morning and then switches over right before the game to the frigging Seahawks. VPN here I come... Just in time to see a backwards pass and now Kelce running free.... Go Bills. -
Running a project for a Healthcare company, but struggling to focus. Usually can firewall off my Bills to a safe place, but I have been looking forward to this rematch since the 13 seconds debacle.

Sure, I feel that way too. Also, we can always "say" we are better, but the only thing that matters is what is on the scoreboard at the end. Those feel good team stats, style points and such all take a back seat to just pulling out the Ws. I like our odds, but saying we are better than KC is meaningless. The Bills have to go out and make a statement and prove they are the better team. Don't blink Go Bills.... Can't wait for the weekend. Damn, I am so not into my job today.

These two teams are so close each year that home field actually matters... be nice to break our Arrowhead trend. I feel like we have a better defensive front than years past. I have been critical of some of Frazier's defensive approaches, but one thing I can definitely say about Frazier (besides being a super nice dude) is that he usually can game plan to take away 1 or 2 players. I do not expect Kelce to be running free all over the place as a safety blanket for Mahomes. He's gonna have to work a bit harder this game.

Agree with the approach. Players often talk about the mental time needed to regain that trust and confidence that their body is ready to take on the demand of going full game speed. Good to have the depth at DB as we need those guys with the volume of nickle we play and they get dinged up.

That last drag route on his 4th touchdown he just releases freely off the line and jogs across the end zone without a Raider in sight. It is baffling...
-
Unfortunately yes. My first thought was "What a Billsy thing to do..." then caught myself because that was the old Bills.
-
OMG their recevers rubbed themselves out... Way to draw up a play.

one foot... the bobble killed it.

No hold... I see
