  1. Holy Crap walk away for a sec and KC figures out how to play down to the Raiders and get stopped sans any points.
  2. I am not sure I get the 2 points there either. Now the Chiefs only need a FG to go up by 4 and the Raiders would have to punch it in.
  3. That was a sweet throw
  4. The trick is not to cover Kelce in the red zone. Brilliant defense.
  5. Agree with all these points that having Diggs opposite him and Allen throwing to him helps a lot. Even early in his career I found Davis' body control and awareness of where he was at on the field to be exceptional. He was bank on the sidelines for Allen. He surprised me early on with his highlight reel toe-drags and such when Allen was a bit more hesitant to place the ball anywhere near a defender and would put it only where Gabe could make a sideline grab. Allen has evolved his game and confidence in his ball placement and has built a lot of trust in Gabe in the process.
  6. Looks like a delayed blitz. Peeburgh does that a lot. Without a man in front of him Saffold tries to help out Dawkins. Not sure if the protection scheme is designed that way or just a bad adjustment by Saffold or another OL player.
  7. Still love the "finish" in Davis wrestling that ball out of Minkah's hands (and taking any decision out of the hands of the refs).
  8. Truth, but now that Allen is turning into the darling of the NFL it is going to be interesting being on the other side of that equation as the NFL seeks to protect its new star QBs. Of course a defiant Allen will run headlong into a phalanx of linebackers and safeties careless of the Brady bubble being applied to him.
  9. So many jaw-dropping JA 17 throws to choose from... What a problem to have.
  10. 3d chess I do think Bernard may be groomed more as a backup for Milano with his size and instincts. Folks forget how often Milano gets dinged. Been knocking on wood this whole season as his play has been outstanding. Helps that he finally has a DL in front of him that can keep him clean. He is not built to take on pulling OL players..
  11. I find it interesting that both McD and Beane were on that staff and not recognized as targets that org could promote. Talk about letting talent walk out the door.... Although it did seem like they still held close ties to that FO for all the personnel exchanges they have cooked up since. Does not really hold a candle to ol' Ralphy giving Polian and Butler the boot. Ushered in the darkest years of being a Bills fan - at least for me. Polian and Butler went out and ended up resurrecting the Colts and Chargers' franchises. Glad the good lord saw fit to keep me around long enough to see the worm turn and JA 17 suit up for our team. Feels good.
  12. Agree with some of the others here. Seemed to me the flag came out with some attitude right after Epenesa said something to the ref about his wife, sister, mother.... I think the elbow only initiated the dialogue. It was what was said that sent Hussey into anger management.
  13. That was against Minkah Fitzpatrick too who is no slouch. Davis wanted it more.
  14. Truth. It always seems to come down to KC - we have to take that win and flip the script to start forcing these guys to play in our back yard. We end up in Arrowhead far too often of late
  15. It is a bit funny when folks start throwing up QB stats and as a Bills fan you cannot help but think of how many games already this year Allen has the game wrapped up by the 3rd Qtr. He could pad his stats insanely especially when defenses are running for the bus if he and the coaching staff felt that was important.
  16. They have struggled all year opening holes - Saffold has yet to live up to his billing as a road grader although I thought he had a bit of a better game today. I am not sure if he is playing through some injury. Bates simply has struggled since they moved him to the right. We don't really let any RB get into much of a flow with our pass-first offense, but it is hard to take the ball out of Allen's hands. I think Kromer will get the line tuned up as the season progresses. Nice to see Brown looking like he is playing himself back into form. Luckily we pass most of the time and it has not affected things too much. Thought the shovel pass to Morris on the 1 between the tackles was ill-conceived seeing how many defenders Pittsburg was trying to cram into the "A" gaps. Not sure what Dorsey thought he saw. Proud of our team, but do think that we have to clean up the turnovers - especially on the doorstep of scoring. We have had a few of those in the first few games this season. As long as our boys are not dropping like flies in the heat, no team has been able to keep up with our team once the race is on. If we get into a scoring race with a better team, turnovers like that are going to bite us. So yes we have a very good team, but like McD preaches there are things this team can clean up.
  17. I will look at it again, but think he could've followed through and got a clean hit on him. I've watched Shaq a lot when he plays. He has toolbox of borderline moves, but still glad we have the depth with how banged up our DL has been. I just know how protective this fan base is with Allen and the extra shots he takes and think we would be singing a different tune if the situation was reversed and we were on the other end of a late blow out loss. Folks are free to disagree. Either way great win by our Bills. Vegas line was off a bit by how much we were going to own them.
  18. Funny how folks think legal things can't be dirty. Hypocritical too I think. Would be a safe bet that if a defensive player had a clean shot at Allen inside or outside the tackles, but instead went low at his knees this board explodes with pitchforks and torches. There are tackles that are normally made low... size mismatches with TEs against DBs and Safeties come to mind. Don't think that was the case with Shaq and Pickett.
  19. Shaq could have shoved him or just hit him, but went low down at his knees. If it was Allen I would have been pissed. Picket had that fake slide controversial play in college and I think that may have played into the no flag when he was blown up when he started his slide earlier. Refs look for those things.
  20. And there goes Epenesa. Sheesh....
  21. Shaq has some dirty in him. I have seen him throw the leg out there and trip too. Hate to say it, but sometimes you need that player that teams keep an extra eye on. Not sure jawing his way off the field is going to play well with McD.
  22. Refs have been letting a lot of holding go on the Pittsburgh OL... Protecting the rookie QB. That was a bit of a dirty hit by Shaq.
  23. Bad throw high behind.... That should have been a pick. Got a real lucky tip.
  24. Some guys were born to catch passes, some to knock them down.
