James Cook -- 5.8 ypc(!) and his longest is only 33 yards.
BlazinBill replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall
This guy just has it- an off season of weight gain and learning how to block a bit will be huge- love watching how he has that one cut speed that can just leave defenders behind- 103 replies

I like him I do- he has an element to his game that defenses have to plan around but we have way to many holes to try and bring him here- we need oline and WR help long before we bring in yet another RB. Especially with what Cook has shown as the season progresses - Hines will be back up unless Singletary takes a very friendly deal

Bills open as 1.5 point favorites against Bengals(O/U 49)
BlazinBill replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall
They did- no doubt and almost completely blew a 22 point lead. That play they called a incomplete pass by Mac was straight BS though - that would of iced the game. And 1 of NE TD's was just a fluke. I wish I saw the entire game and got a better feel on the overall game. We won by 22 and the actual game was a little closer then that I think we got this - I do, but they have talent and this will most likely be a fight. Let's roll Happy Holidays and Go Bills!! -
Your not wrong at all- the Jets are toast though if they don't get White back -i feel like the last few weeks is going to be interesting on how that seed plays out and I'm willing to enjoy anyone of them getting beat by KC during our bye- Go Bills and Happy Holidays
-
They stil have the 7th seed and best chance of still making playoffs

Well someone is a little upset with their Christmas presents - geez all you had to do is take one picture is the bunny onesie and then change Chillax bro- if this is the first time in life you found out circumstances are different for different people or the fact there is more then 1 effin way to get to Buffalo from Rochester then perhaps you need some life lessons. Happy Holidays!

I mean I get the melting down - the play over the last month has been dismal to say the least and just the exact opposite of the first part of the year against bad teams. But they honestly are not eliminated and still have a punchers chance to get the 7 seed- multiple teams are fighting for that last spot and their schedule might be the most favorable for them to squeak in

NFL Week # 16 - Bills at Bears - post game thread
BlazinBill replied to BuffaloBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Honestly makes complete sense -i mean when Knox high pointed that ball and landed like that I was damn that had I just hurt like hell I know these people get paid a lot of money to go and play in these conditions and we are indeed a cold weather team but it doesn't all off a sudden make it easy- Soldier Field is straight garbage and has always been known to be- -

My friend Didn't say that - there was just literally nothing good said is all- all he ever does is look for silver linings even when things are bad especially when in a win and and a division being clinched in -25 degree weather. He often tries to add humor in those moments my mistake on sharing his take in the post as we all look a things different. Happy Holidays -
No matter what has changed in the league and the recent dwindling production this is a awesome achievement. He can ball and take over if given the opportunity. My homerism is telling me we switched gears to have a more versatile attack and make defenses prepare for more then just him- If that indeed is true I would say Monday is time to start tuning up for the post season I want the 1 seed for sure but I don't want to go into the playoffs this year with Diggs and Allen not at their best Let's Roll into Cincinnati with the Prime Time Allen to Diggs connection 17+14=6

Honestly you just made some great points- I guess that I may be having a short memory here and just wanting big game Josh and frankly it's unreasonable. I do think Daboll got him to settle early in the game with a designed run but that was not the main point- Happy Holidays and Go Bills!!!!
-
This^ I know Josh has been in the league for 5 years now but Daboll was definitely his constant and kept him in check - Josh needs that- I always think about that the side had almost no professional coaching until he got here. My hope is he has someone step up and be that person and fast- he needs someone to start yelling at him to put him check Happy Holidays!!

I just noticed that Singletary has actually passed Allen and is leading the Bills in Rushing. I for one always think we should use that facet of JA17's game but am also thrilled to see a RB on this team have more rushing yardage then him for once -
I never knew how to feel about this guy - but this year he is definitely beginning to shine and in a time where we are thin at the position based on our rotational style- Best part it's not just sacks and pressures he has batted several balls down including the final play of the Jets game- Would love if he just set the edge a little better

I mean I love Singletary and openly welcome him back at a friendly deal- no one is paying him any crazy money so sure- I absolutely disagree with your take on Cook - do you remember Singletary early in his career? He definitely didn't have the flash that Cook has- Cook has an explosive aspect to him and absolutely is why they drafted him- The concern I do have with him, is can he step up and block when needed. That is huge and a need to be successful in any offense but if he can he's the guy without question. Not sure why your seeing what you are and maybe we just have different takes - definitely cool if we do - I just don't see how you aren't seeing that it factor from him. He has a gear and shiftiness that if Singletary had the Bills wouldn't be constantly be looking to bring more guys in. -

I hope you got to enjoy something today friend because I'm quite certain you didn't enjoy much of that first half- you missed a dominant second half of Bills defense and straight running game - hope your day was great and the rest of your Holiday is as well -

One constant on these boards is Sadly the majority of bills "fans" here are comparable to people who attend a home run derby and say everybody that doesn't wins sucks. -
Haha-Not sure why, but reading this made me instantly remember Aaron Maybin-

I think it might be early to state that- I mean it's bad - he looks awful - maybe being in NYC was just to much pressure and he crumbled and he will turn it around in a different team/system. Side note-Isnt it such a relief that you don't have to break the bank and set your organization back 5 years everytime you draft high and the player just fizzles- I hated that part of the game back in the day
