Shakir was hands down our best receiver in the playoffs. 2 TDs and 10 catches on 12 targets. I think he takes a massive step forward. Somebody is going to have to put up production w/ the loss of Diggs/ Davis. What I like about him is he holds onto the ball and showed he can make circus catches. The only thing he lacks is the downfield speed

I mean Buffalo does have the best 3rd down % and a routinely top offense every single year so is it really necessary? I think the issue is more about the defensive picks not panning out than the lack of offensive fire power. Buffalo put up a good scoring effort against the Chiefs. Issue was by far the defense and special teams, the same as it was the last time we faced the Chiefs in the post-season. Allen and company are going to get there’s. The only time they really stalled out was against the Bengals and then the AFCC game against KC once again. I guess you could say the Ravens, but I think they went on cruise control once Lamar went out of the game. I think it’s a huge misconception on this forum and the media that Buffalo doesn’t have enough weapons to compete. The problem has always been the defense and it will continue to be until they learn to stop people when it matters.

I don’t get why someone would bad mouth their franchise QB right to their face like that. I was confused on why they fired him at the time, but now I totally get it. Tua sucks, but he seems like an all around good person in real life. I don’t see him making up something like this.

Not to mention Torrence going into his 2nd year. I think he will be a dominant guard when he puts it all together. I think the O-line could have slightly worse pass protection, but the run blocking will be much better. There’s a reason they went after Ray Davis. Give Josh a solid running game and it takes so much pressure off of him to make insane plays to get the 1st down. I don’t get the pessimistic attitudes either. People think we are fielding the same exact team as last year minus Diggs, Morse, & Davis, but fail to understand that the young players we have get better with experience. Some might even break to become elite. Look at Terrell Bernard who 75% of the board (including myself) thought was going to be a massive downgrade from Tremaine Edmunds. He actually turned to he even better.

KC is arguably even worse off at WR, but no one points that out

Idk about everyone else, but I am extremely excited. This is exactly the type of year where the Bills will come out and surprise everyone. Screw all of he pressure they’ve faced previous seasons. This is the way I like it. We have a better O-line, better RBs, a 2nd year Dalton Kincaid and a mid-tier starter in Knox, Rasul Douglas is a major upgrade to start the season compared to last, and the D-line should be equally good but has the potential to be even better. Oh and I almost forgot Josh MFing Allen which makes us contenders all by himself. I am worried about the injury of Milano, but the Bills seem to have good LB depth. If they can coast to a playoff spot, a fresh Milano heading into the post-season could be a blessing in disguise. WR as well, but if Brady is smart, he will use a stout physical O-line, a better group of RBs, and 2 starting caliber TEs to his advantage. Coleman is a rookie, but rookies receivers sometimes have huge impacts. Safety is a major concern, but if anyone can make it work it’s McDermott who’s DB coaching is arguably the best in the league.

If he goes to the PS he’s all but gone.

Yeah, let’s trade our first thousand yard rusher since Shady McCoy. Especially since we will need to rely on him and the Tight Ends more than ever since all these players are dropping like flies

I would be ecstatic. If there’s any QB that can learn behind someone like Josh it’s Trey Lance. I certainly would feel much better w/ him than Trubisky who is hot garbage. Lance hasn’t really had the opportunity yet. Definitely not worth the picks u are asking for though. I’d give them a 4th

Sometimes an OC will call short pass plays to get their QB in rhythm and build up confidence. I don’t see that being any different with a kicker. They were chip shots, but he drilled them.

Bass was a perfect 3/3 which is HUGE. I am feeling much more confident now. Rousseau looked amazing as well.

This is too much for me to even think about right now. I don’t even want to imagine a Bills team post-Allen.

Well, we have the best pure scorer and weapon in the NFL who can win games solely on the strength of his own abilities so there’s no way we miss the playoffs. Losing the AFCE is always a possibility, but I am 1000% sure we squeak into a wild card spot at worst case scenario. Love or hate him, McDermott always fields an elite regular season defense. Bernard will be just as good as Milano IMO and Dorian Williams gained some valuable experience last year. The Bills have great players and solid vets on every level of the defense and no real glaring weaknesses on that side of the ball. Finally a stable CB1 in Douglas who can allow them to be more creative w/ the blitz. Receiver is always a concern until someone separates themselves as the clear cut #1. Whether that be Kincaid, Samuel, or Coleman remains to be seen, but one of them will have to step up. Buffalo has a strong running game as well as Allen’s playmaking to lean on until that happens. I am more confident than most and I think the WR issue is way overblown. The Chiefs are about equal to us in that area if not worse and no one is batting an eye.

If they swapped coaches today they would have to install a whole new offensive and defensive philosophy 3 weeks before the start of the season. The odds would actually decrease and I’m not sure why this isn’t an option on the poll?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t this mostly because the fact Josh Allen has 15 rushing TDs? Usually they run it in one way or the other if they’re at the goal line. People always discount his rushing stats to prove their stupid narrative. He’s a dual threat QB. People don’t seem to do the same to Lamar 🤔

Hard to be inspired for a meaningless game where all you’re trying to is make it out without an injury which could potentially cost millions. They’re fun for watching backups battle for roster spots, but coaches (they’ll lie of course) don’t give a damn if they win or lose. Honestly, the most interesting thing about the games are watching Bass.

Peterman must have incriminating evidence against Goodell or something because this makes no sense. Good for him, but it’s baffling. Why not go with a promising late rounder/UDFA or young backup who hasn’t had a shot and try catching lightning in a bottle ? I don’t understand the NFL’s obsession w/ bringing back proven failures. Buffalo did the same thing w/ Mitch Trubisky. None of these guys are going to win their team more than a few games if QB1 goes down. I’d rather throw the water boy out there and see what he’s got

Crazy bc this is the pass I immediately thought of when I saw the title of this thread. Really shows Allen arm strength which is in a class by itself. My favorite play hands down. A very very close 2nd would be where Allen launched it to Robert Foster while being draped on by 2 defenders. Actually you can interchange either one of these plays because both are equally impressive Only QB where his arm and legs are equally lethal.

Nobody thought that. Some thought he was a boom or bust type player, but I don’t recall anyone proclaiming Claypool the second coming.
