Wild Card Weekend - Wild Card Weather
NoHuddleKelly12 replied to WEATHER DOT COM's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll be applauding everyone who's in the stands, and wishing I was there with you to see it all in person (I'm serious!). No matter how accurate the snow chart is or isn't, the temps will be brutal for all. Can we start a new poll thread on which players are most likely to go sleeveless/no hand warmers? 😁 -

Guess it helps to have some palms still greased by Terry? Not sure how much was left on Rex's deal with the Bills when he finally got the boot, but I'm sure Rex made out handsomely. -

And Kyle Brandt/Chris Simms 😆 -
Wouldn’t this tush play now lend itself to the ultimate 4th down superplay of flea flicker back to the pushing back to toss an easy completion for a TD while the defensive beefcake is otherwise occupied? 🤔

Bills fan murdered after game

Truly, truly awful. RIP to the victim, may his family eventually find peace in the middle of this senselessness, and perp(s) be brought to the light of day. -
Donuts, it was a mixed bag tbh...weather was actually not great for portion of it (cooler side/rainy), and I ended up running just the first 3 days (5k, 10k, and half marathon), and not the full (last minute scheduling issue, had to come home a day early). Storm predictions for the Saturday meant that RunDisney shortened the half course by 6 miles as of the night before, so we ran a glorified 10K with a 4:45 am start to beat the rain/lightning, and for the slowest groups they cut off a further mile during the race...lots of unhappy runners I can tell you! I felt bad for my sister and my nephew who were running down there for the first time ever, and experienced a shortened race and less of the entertaining experience that this usually is--but we still got to at least spend some time as a family, given we live half a country apart, that's what matters most. For the record, my "blistering" pace was a staid 13:11/per mile average.

Everything will be right with the world if we force Mahomes to travel to our house for a playoff game, for the first time in his career...then put the Chiefs on humiliating blast. Will cross the Baltimore bridge when we get there. Of any of the times during this KC dynastic run, they seem to be most vulnerable this year, and ripe for the picking, imho.

Weather being such an X variable, I don't know how much we can really take away from that last meeting, if anything. So much has changed since then as well, regardless of the impending weather. All I know is, I like our D against the reindeer at QB, our QB's ability to make good things happen with his legs, and how James Cook brings a whole new element/ability to pound the rock even against top D lines (Dallas comes to mind) in inclement conditions. We just need to protect the rock, avoid dumb fumbles in the snow and play the way that we know we are capable of! Back in the day weather at Rich in the playoffs was always perceived to be our friend, and used to our advantage where the no-huddle still hummed along at its high level while the others were left slipping and sliding around aimlessly...why shouldn't we have that swagger again?

1989? Going off memory here…

Not to mention this isn’t the first time he’s coached the team from middling to hot streak to close out the division in style—2021 we were 7-6 and proceed to rip off the remaining games—that counts for something too.

Myopic point of view, sorry. I think you should thank both, plus our D.

Only a hat this big can contain the crown that belongs to the real NFL MVP.

Wonder if the news that we’re in removes some of the juice for the Phins around this game in the sense that nothing they do will result in us missing the playoffs? I get all the other seeding issues and division, but still, this news combined with the fact that if we lose we prolly have to travel back to Miami—do the Phins even want to see us yet again?
-
I’m running the Disney marathon weekend races right now in Orlando [lamp alert], and I can safely tell you that on one of the Buccees c-store pitstops in South GA yesterday on the way, it was a ridiculous number of geared-up Bills fans crammed in there—probably some going to the same races I’m at, but I don’t doubt most were headed to Miami.

Will/Should Von be active vs. the Fish?

I can only ever hope to emulate, never duplicate what Donuts brings to the table—think of it as Bill Walsh to Sam Wyche, for example. 🤔 -
I’m here for this. By all means sign Tua (but best have some tuppins left over for a serviceable backup ‘cause you’ll need that guy eventually) and let the Bills keep spoiling the Phins’ division hopes🥸.
