  1. Battle of the misfit toys at QB...if his back doesn't give out first, then I think this guy is next man up:
  2. Murph had the point yesterday that a lot of good teams still can suffer from excessive penalties, but it goes unnoticed with the ability to overcome same. When we start talking about penalties, it’s usually because we are trying to figure out what’s part of an overall failing phase of the game. If I remember right, he was saying KC is most penalized team this year so far but it’s not an issue anyone talks about because obviously playing lights out on O otherwise.
  3. The problem with purposely playing not to win in order to improve draft position is that drafting by its very nature is still a gamble with no assurances of a payoff, and in the meantime your “culture,” “process” all suffer with deteriorating morale for the ones already here and being pegged to build around. Just win baby! Or at least try your absolute best and make sure your team knows and respects your efforts to win.
  4. In other news, Bills castoffs during the Drought regain top form playing with their new franchises after applying lessons learned in Buffalo.
  5. Or cloud of snow? because you know, no snow plows
  6. ^^^^^This. Was going to launch into a similar vein but no need to reinvent the wheel. Thanks Thunderstruck
  7. The crazy part is that the template for something different has been around since Levy/Kelly here!! The Bills routinely brought out the ugly stick against whoever showed up at Rich Stadium back in the day, scoring 51 points against the Raiders here in January 91, and always bringing it against the ‘phins during the playoffs with 30+ points etc. Yes they could run the freaking ball with Thurman and that Oline, but they could also air it out just as easily, weather schmether! Bunch of stereotypical nonsense from people who don’t know that it actually gets colder/snowier in Kansas City than Buffalo on average during the course of a season. But yes, by all means let’s build a bully to play smash mouth run first and put our fans to sleep while we’re at it because the No Huddle K Gun never existed
  8. Funny thing is that as I’m streaming WGR on my lunch break or commuting down here in the A, I feel like Murph has been very critical of the Bills of late, more so than Tasker—to the point where I took notice of it because I was expecting more Chris Brown lite than anything else from him. Also, the local Atlanta media is generally more powder puff on the Falcons than WGR on Bills, IMO, even during early bad stretch this year for them
  9. Ridiculous/tasteless. NP is in a no win situation and will wash out of the Bills roster soon enough; he’s a good guy though who never complains or blames his weak O teammates even when they would richly deserve some of the flak coming just his way as he stands at the post game lectern (hey, where’s Shady to answer some questions?) But hey, no worries, DA is probably going to be getting back to his starting role this week and will get a chance to make the clowns who started this stunt appreciate his zero TD 4 pick + pick6 resume instead! Well played ?
  10. Man, that vid makes me so pumped for what KB brings to the table! Catching everything thrown his way at the Adpro center...This WR corps is learning/absorbing from the best! Baghdad Bob must’ve executive produced this. Or Goebbels with the Red Army knocking on the door. ?
  11. Agreed; I think Darnold is developing an appreciation for the finer points of a pick-6, and Milano is due to take one to the house!
  12. It’s strange because he flashed what he could be in Carolina, but hasn’t seemed interested in developing that potential in the slightest here. Will prob go down as one of the worst WR FA pickups in this FO’s run. Our QB’s might clear the incompetent threshold if he played like he wanted the ball
  13. Ughh. Sounds bad all around for everyone involved
  14. Doing this at the next home game will hold someone accountable! Then follow that up with some of this:
  15. Love your exclamations dollars 2 donuts--crikey they are solid! Keep 'em coming!
  16. Sweet! He's been working hard to get back into the league, per this from his Wiki page: "In November 2008, in an appearance on Sirius NFL Radio, George said, "I find it hard to believe there isn't a place in the game for me. My arm feels like I'm 25", he said. "I'm not asking to be a starter, I just want a spot on a team. I still hold out hope I can play in this league. I'm working out three or four days a week, staying ready. Some people might laugh about it. I've been hearing the excuse, 'You're too old,' but I look at guys now playing near 40, and if you can throw it like I can throw it ... Why wouldn't you take a look at me?" He said of coming back: "I’ve been trying to figure out how to get back in, and it just amazes me that I’m not on somebody's roster. I’ve been throwing two or three times a week, and every time I go out there to throw, I can’t believe I’m not a backup somewhere. I know it's a young man's game, but you can’t tell me I’m not better than some of the quarterbacks that are out there. I look at teams like Minnesota or Chicago, and I want to scream at the people in charge, ‘What are you thinking?’" On August 4, 2010, George announced on KFAN Sports radio in Minnesota that he would have been willing to step in for veteran QB Brett Favre if Favre had decided to retire from the Minnesota Vikings." Good looking Panther!
  17. Or let House-Money try out his leg from anywhere on the field!
  18. Petermania here for a few more weeks at least! What a trip
  19. True—Rexy built us a real “bully” until we took the field. We also had Santa Clause, aka Rob Ryan, as a defensive wizard which was great. What rotten coaching luck we’ve had through the years!
  20. This is exactly why I feel like NP is not getting cut anytime soon—not enough healthy backup QB’s yet with any idea about the playbook. But after JA comes back all bets are off I’m sure.
  21. You absolutely should. TD is a TD, same number of points no matter how you get in there.
  22. It's definitely getting technical when the stank has so many layers to it. It's getting difficult to evaluate which is worse, the talent trying to execute the play designs, or the coaching prep schematically on the O side of the ball? And I have been willing recently to give Daboll a pass given what he's working with objectively, but this is getting beyond nuts.
  23. ?Sounds good--let's plan on circling back around on this one Coach, once you've had a chance to back-check everyone else's eyeballs!
  24. I have trouble coming up with any semblance of a defense against your points at the moment.
  25. McD's assistant trying to schedule Coach's coffee with Terry this morning is going something like this I imagine:
