  1. To the contrary, the Pack have always been “rootable” for me where Buffalo is unaffected by the outcome—franchise has a legendary history, is fellow small market-ish and usually does things the right way. Past couple years have taken some of the sheen off for me, but still overall would never say I dislike them the way I do every AFC team outside the Bills pretty much. I especially root for the Pack when playing Dallas, Giants, and ‘Skins. ?
  2. For such an occasion, shouldn’t there be some kind of a free cake ? giveaway or voucher for a free drink to the first 20K who respond to this thread? Congrats @Gugny
  3. Social media strikes again. Just don’t press send, even if it’s true. Something to be said for keeping beefs in house and presenting a united front to the outside. Didn’t hear Josh ever say peep about the line negatively even though he couldn’t have been blamed if he had, right? Also, what will be Shady’s excuse if next year his production remains stunted behind 3-4 new starters on the line? That they haven’t been able to “gel” properly? Sometimes you have to create your own opportunities and not fall down the second your jersey gets sniffed by a D tackle...
  4. Also wonder if some teams will copy what SD just did against the Ravens in stopping Lamar with 7 DB’s, and what a good counter to that would be? Obviously the Ravens never adjusted so it would have to be figured out from scratch ?
  5. Totally feel you and concur as a fellow western pa native. Agree with everything except that some of my family are Steelers fans as a result, and I can at least say I don’t hate those particular family members, lol.
  6. Indifferent is really the best way of describing it; as a transplant to the Atlanta area, not only are they (Falcons) not the Bills obviously, but not even the team that would represent my hometown area (Steelers), so I’m basically 2 levels removed from any nominal rooting interest. Doesn’t affect my day in the slightest if they’re doing good or bad. ^^^^This.
  7. So was Harbaugh digging his heels in at the expense of possibly providing a veteran spark a/k/a Flacco off the bench? According to Peter King in his writeup of this game for FMIA, the Chargers played the same D personnel grouping of 7DB’s almost the whole game, but the Ravens just never adjusted, so it kept working. If I’m a Ravens fan, I’d be furious this morning that my coaching staff did exactly zilch to counter or provide a spark.
  8. Don’t worry, we’ll squeeze in and make room on the Allen bandwagon next year for you—I am optimistic that his throwing arm will be plenty utilized. ??
  9. 09.23.18. The Leap heard ‘round the world announcing we had a player at QB for the first time in a long time. The upset against the Vikes on their home turf. JA as the starting QB on the road 1st game, everyone calling for a blowout of epic proportions against us, including many on these boards ?. Oh, and my wife and I were in the hospital because my youngest decided to be born that day too—all around an unforgettable awesome day! ? Honorable mentions: that time someone lost 5K betting against the Bills and the subsequent drama here; the Jags game, and Miami beat down with Kyle showing Kelvin how to track in a pass to completion...
  10. Playoffs or bust next year for this FO! I was like a little kid again this time last year
  11. The NFL just can’t get out of its own way to help itself...constantly making ridiculous gaffes like this that are a PR dud. How do you justify this? Can our boy appeal the fine and argue disproportionality? Either way, Terry or Josh, step up.
  12. Donahoe was such a disappointment and that was after coming from a solid always competitive Steeler franchise—I never understood that.
  13. Thanks for sharing this one @Hapless Bills Fan, really got a kick out of this—love it when the NFLers can be self-deprecating and mix it up with regular joes all in good fun. Definitely gave those kids a lifelong memory and made them Goff fans for the duration of his career I’m sure ?. I could totally see JA pulling something like this off too!
  14. Rex had infinitely greater individual talent to work with on the line and at WR. The dead cap $ his roster carried in 2016 was a paltry 18.7 mill, hardly a blip compared to the 70 mill carried in dead cap $ this season. Put another way, McD had to make do with peanuts because that’s all the Bills could afford this year, and still managed to get an overwhelmingly young roster into fighting shape by the end of the year. Rex’s group tuned out his bluster and rolled over without much of a fight when it was time to save his job. This year, the Bills have been steadily improving and ended on a crazy high note. The development of late round and undrafted talent has been especially gratifying to see. Rex was too busy trying to keep his no-talent brother Santa ?? employed, and developed little talent along the way—simply ran into the ground what he had, (4th ranked D dropped to 19th) by way of a half baked schematic structure that prominently, memorably featured Super Mario playing safety for all intents and purposes. 15. You always were a buzzkill...?
  16. I think it might be because we of the JA fan club deal with enough Allen negativity from within our own fan boards here at TBD, it’s a reflexive reaction now ?. Point taken however, and I can’t wait to review the national hot takes after we start stringing together some decent win streaks in 2019.
  17. Culley along with Daboll might be Exhibit A as to why it's important not to judge too soon off of a week by week hot take basis...I'm as guilty as the next guy of having questioned Culley's contributions along the way. I'm ok with seeing how this plays out through next year.
  18. How that game was not delayed/cancelled remains a mystery...but I bet it was fun to call it--you could just make up your own play by play with none the wiser!
  19. Isn't this how Transformers 3 started out??
  20. I usually can tell by my overall heart rate--it's been eyeopening to me how much variance in my BPM ever since I started wearing a smartwatch that tracks that sort of thing, even if I couldn't physically always tell. I average 12-16oz. before noon, and maybe one more 8-12oz. cup in the afternoon if I need a pickup, but no matter what I always need that 1st cup to really get going in the morning.
  21. Which would be part of the NE bread & butter weekly prep model he would've seen up close and personal from Hoodie during his time there. I wonder how much of that he tried to do this year, but just couldn't effectively given his personnel constraints?
