  1. Ok Joeziehmer, nice try, but we know who you are ?
  2. I feel like he’s gotten the message and has played himself into what should be a solid part of this D. Thanks Rexy, can’t say that about much of your reign in Buffalo, but just maybe you were on to something here with Shaq after all...
  3. Ditto to all my intraweb Bills fan friends out there—thanks for everything in 2018–and here’s to experiencing lots of exciting football in 2019 together with our Bills!!! Haven’t been this excited about starting a new season since, well, probably 1995. ? Happy New Year TBD!
  4. Great thread @dollars 2 donuts, highlighting how so many of our loose threads got pulled together yesterday, into a cohesive team win/solid effort including Mills. Can’t discount how much Kyle meant to even the younger guys on this team (someone else pointed out Zay’s running over to the ref after Kyle had tossed his catch ball so that he could retrieve it for a memento for Kyle) and how fired up they all were as a result. If ever there was a “meaningless” end of season game that actually meant more to every Bill playing than this one, I don’t know which. Glad you got to go and bring it full circle for the link with your dad.
  5. Sounds like Tomlin needs to import some process—things getting too comfortable for him? Losing control of the locker room might be a part of that result? The Rooneys do a lot right, but arguably leave the HC in place just a little bit too long, to a fault.
  6. But we saw already that having 3 healthy guys to play as needed is quite important—when we were stuck at 2, things went downhill fast whether through injury or lack of quality play
  7. So glad to see this; after a historically horrendous QB stretch this year mid season, they are finally pulling the right levers at the position it appears. Am optimistic this is the right mix in the QB room going forward into 2019!
  8. I’d rather start from the OP’s point than the opposite, which we’ve seen far too often here—capn Checkdown threw a beautiful short ball, did he not? I’ll take Josh’s floor to start any day
  9. When does Elway start getting a bit more scrutiny for his FO failings? Better them than us though!
  10. Ha ha, I wonder how strongly worded a statement Coughlin would’ve given at the time that we were talking about this?
  11. I already gave out my post of the day nomination elsewhere, but that was before I saw this ?
  12. And double please let him have the freedom to hire his brother as additional defensive scheme consultant...first round through the Golden Corral buffet line is on me if that helps get him there? ?
  13. Great analogy!! I’m nominating you for early AM post of the day ???
  14. Thanks for pointing this out OP. What a difference between his today versus those we’ve seen thrown by our other starters throughout the course of this year—previously it always felt like the proverbial nail in the coffin, but today it hardly registered in the overall flow of the game. More specifically, I knew we still would have chances to pull out the W, because JA brings big play unpredictability the likes of which haven’t been seen in Orchard Park since my avatar namesake, and that’s a fact ladies and gents! 5 total TD’s on his back, and this is his rookie floor, not ceiling? Mic drop.
  15. Now we have some real recent alumni talent to lead the charge with ?
