  1. Gunner, as for the Bills, is this what do you think they should do if draft fell this way or what they would do? If the former, didn't you say you prefer Eichenberg for us?
  2. Fully agree with both of you and I wrote it couple of times here already. No need to overreact to AFCCG and try to reshape things just to beat Chiefs. We were 15-4 team overall so no need to panic. Just add some more pieces in FA and draft BPA. I for one hope for one speed guy in offense (WR or RB), one OL (you need to draft OL in top 3 rounds at least every other year) and either DE or CB with our first three picks. Then some big guy as DT in fifth. And I think it is apparent that our FO sees it same way (no need to panic part).
  3. They have interesting mock on Jetnation, where all players generally deemed as first rounders were actually taken before our pick - unlike first mock here on TBD, where JOK and Phillips remained on the board. That means CBs Farley, Horn, Newsome, DEs Paye, Rousseau, Phillips, Ojulari, S Moehrig, RB Harris, WR Toney, LBs Collins and JOK, OL Jenkins, Vera-Tucker are not on the board. Who do you take in this scenario? I know that you don't like other CBs, other DEs, consider it high for guards and RTs in general, don't like first round RBs, don't like Freiermuth that high. So one of OTs? Mayfield or Eichenberg? Or Barmore (can he play next to Oliver?)? Reach for CB Campbell?
  4. Which weekend did you have in mind? Sry to be pain in the ass. Whenever you have time man. I just had tough day in work and I missed some positive distraction.
  5. I disagree with the first sentence. It was obiously part of the reason. But there was a big narrative after the game how there is a big gap between teams when it comes to speed. I don't think that was most important factor why we lost. We were 15-3 team at that point and were good enough to compete with Chiefs. But they were better prepared mentally and better coached. Hill had 171 yards (his season average was 85) and together with Kelce they had 289. That's just silly. That game made it look like that we lose 10 out of 10 games against them. I do not think that is the case. It should be more like 6/4 in their favor, but we need to gameplan better and execute better. And I think offseason proves that McBeane actually think the same thing. I know Beane talked a lot about speed in his final press conference, but we did not see it in FA. Like at all (maybe except Breida). They basically brought everybody back. I think that they realized that the "gap" is smalled than it seemed to be and that they can win with current team, they just need to gameplan better. Everybody said that we sucked at covering TEs yet the biggest contract they handed over in offseason was to Milano, who many blame for not covering Kelce. In other words, I do think that offseason proves that they mostly blame themselves for AFCCG game, not roster. Which I think is correct and it also says a lot about McDermott (in a good way). Which obviously does not mean that you are not correct and they will not try to add speed in the draft. I think they will.
  6. No sure why people say this. This is a depth signing and it has nothing to do with draft. If we draft OL early, guys like Dougles will be just cut.
  7. I find it amusing how after seeing hundreds mocks this year every once in a while someone mocks quite high some guy I've never heard of. This time it is Tutu Atwell, WRs, Lousville. I don't remember seeing his name before and boom - pick 33.
  8. Virgil you're the man! Thanks for doing this. Helps to survive time until actual draft.
  9. Two questions. Is it standard in US to make video calls now? Or is it some app? And who's the fifth guy after McD?
  10. I think there might be some people who voted here but don't follow mock draft thread closely or don't remember. Maybe @Virgilcould add that info to OP.
  11. My understanding is that there should be a decent value for 1T DT when we pick in 3rd.
  12. Vera and Tucker are not available, there is a mistake in the poll. They were taken in the first.
  13. What others said. Jenkins, Vera and Tucker out, Ossai, Meinerz and Stokes in. I don't know the players. I'd take BPA, preferably edge or OL. Looking at all mocks so far Ossai seems almost like consensus BPA and should have very high ceiling, but I understand he is not a natural fit for us. Since I don't think we should draft for next year, I'd take shot on him probably.
  14. My random tips for poll (courtesy of Tankathon, Daniel Jeremiah and what I read here): RB Michael Carter WR Rondale Moore, Dyami Brown, Amon-Ra St. Brown OT Walker Little OG Quinn Meinerz, Trey Smith DT Levi Onwuzurike, Daviyon Nixon DE Partick Jones, Joseph Ossai, Joe Tryon LB Jamin Davis, Jabril Cox CB Erik Stokes, Ifeatu Melifonwu, Elijah Molden
  15. Interesting that he fell this far. I've seen him mocked to us couple times in the first before we signed Milano.
  16. If you remember, please post who were guys 4-5, and if you remember also 6-7. I can only see three finalists now. Thanks.
  17. I am not arguing but you cannot be sure. Brandt has him 45th. I've seen other mocks going him 26th to Cleveland. It is not impossible. Anyway, even if this was unrealistic, this poll gives us some idea where TBD stands in terms of Phillips/Etienne/Harris/Campbell/Toney preferences...
  18. I mentioned Moore since he gets mocked to us a lot in Mock Draft SImulator thread IIRC (presumably because Toney is not available already). Basham has some strong supporters here too Samuel was mocked to us in at least two different mock from talking heads I think.
