  1. Not necessarily. Just don't overthink it Beane. Draft BPA now, whatever it is, CB, DE, DT, S, LB, WR, whatever. Just no RBs pls
  2. Yeah but they keep mocking "consensus" guy out there, and it is not happening in reality. There will be some of these players when we pick for sure.
  3. Hyatt, Simpson, Adewabore, Johnson, Tillman, Downs, Ika, Clark Phillips, hell maybe even Washington Lots of good options.
  4. Go on record, who did you want when we were on the clock?
  5. I have no idea how good he is. But he was apparently much higher on consensus big board and he is an OL so I LOVE THIS PICK. Finally we are trying to invest in OL properly. Love it.
  6. So drafting defense only is in McD DNA, right?
  7. From what I read here I don't want Jones otherwise pretty nice list, I'd add 2 names but I won't do it, since I don't want to jinx them. I prefer OL.
  8. @GunnerBill are you alive? I hope its just a broken alarm clock...
  9. I hate Jets
  10. Ewan McGregor? Yeah he's a good actor, he can play whatever he wants
  11. Well this is not going well so far
  12. If true, he passed on 3rd and gave up 4th. Quite a lot. Doesn't matter if DK pans out.
  13. In two hours, one of these guys will be a Bill: Schmitz, Avila, Bergeron, Tippmann, Mauch, Hyatt, Tillman, Simpson, Sanders, Johnson. I hope its any of OLine. We either stay put, or trade up using 4th next year (or even 3rd next year, having that compensatory one). Mark my words (or not).
  14. LoL. That seems as incompetent take as it gets to me. He needs a weapon, he gets a weapon and therefore he is a loser? Yeah that makes sense.
  15. Yep, I know, duly noted. But as a judge, I also need to hear other side's opinion
  16. I tend to agree but I still want to see an OL help to be drafted today in the 2nd.
  17. Thing is that even though you have only 19 2nd round grades and there are 27 picks in front of us I can all but guarantee that teams will be all over the place as usual and my guess is that there will be at least 5-7 players with your 2nd round grade available when we pick. There will be plenty to choose from. I agree that not having that 4th sucks big time but from different reason - we lost our ability to trade up in the 2nd for one of OL guys, which was my preference (and Beane's preference imo). Now we have to hope one of them slides. Anyway, do you see ANY OL value in the 3rd round in case we miss out in 2nd? Anyone who you would be content with?
  18. Morning Gunner. I am sitting here processing everything what happened yesterday and waiting for your debrief. And he it is! I am going to read it, but meanwhile, I appreciate if you could check out the other thread about Day 2 potential Bills targets and answer my question about round 3 OL picks
  19. Like I said above, I want OL, I hope/think Beane wants the same, and there are clear candidates for round 2 - Schmitz, Avila, Tippmann, Bergeron, Mauch. Question for those of you who follow college and actually know something about players - are there any OL who you'd be happy with in the 3rd in case we miss out / go another direction in the 2nd? When looking at the consensus board there are Wypler, Duncan, Freelend, Zavala and Steen in the general area of our pick. Who would you be happy with?
  20. I hope that we get one of those OL, and I am pretty sure Beane wants that too. If I count correctly there are 6 of them - Avila, Tippmann, Schmitz, Torrence, Bergeron or Mauch. Just find a way to draft any of them they like. Only problem I see that we probably won't be able to trade up since we already did it in the first round. So need to get lucky here. I'd spend that 5th we have if need be. If it goes another direction, just take BPA or trade down.
  21. I know it was a specific situation since we jumped the Cowboys so some positions were more likely than others, but it doesn't change the point - from available players, who did you want the Bills to select? Go on record!
  22. Love we went offense and probably BPA on most boards. Really hope Dorsey will figure out how to use him. If he does, it could be a great pick. Just like last year, I don't love that we had to spent 4th round pick. We need young cheap bodies for future years (or draft capital to move up in 2nd for spedific guy). Oh an everybody who said that McB will just draft defense because they can't help themselves should eat some crow. I hope this turns out to be a great pick.
