  1. If he goes to PS and then on the roster, will he have his original rookie contract? Or is it gone for good with this cut?
  2. I know it is completely irrelevant, but can somebody explain to me what is to point of saying "per source" at the end of this tweet (and not just this tweet)? I mean if she doesn't say specific source than what is the point? It is clear that she is not stating her opinion. I am just wondering if this has some special meaning unknown to me (some kind of legal protection or so), or it is redundant nonsense as I suspect.
  3. Was Grable playing 2nd team LT or RT or both? If both, where did you like him more?
  4. I won't argue with this, and I know they played very well last year, but can someone explain me what (who) makes that defense that special? I am no expert, and I know they have two players who are most likely top 5 at their positions - Gardner and Quinnen Williams. DJ Reed is very good safety I guess. But other than that? Honest question. I'd like to hear why are they so good.
  5. I have only one: Bills, Oilers and Celtics win their respective leagues and I win 50k (bet is already in, €100, 500:1 odds).
  6. Well this sucks. Anyway, I don't get this Dorian is not ready talk. If he's not ready by now he'll never be. Nobody here had any idea how good and ready Bernard was until he started playing. Get Williams on the field and let him play. If it doesn't work out after 6-7 games, start Spector/Jones/Ulofoshio or trade for a LB before deadline.
  7. Haha WR screen working who woulda thought
  8. I feel stupid but what is the difference between being waived and released?
  9. Too busy now so just glancing through. 2 points: - Solomon is not part of any camp battle. He is a lock to make roster. Edit: Or, if he is, he is not losing his spot to Jonathan. Also, I can easily see them keeping 4DT (Williams to PS) and 6 DEs. Either way, Solomon makes roster. - Morrow is definitely part of camp battle Just MO obviously
  10. And who do you mean? Benford or Elam?
  11. Oh yeah I absolutely agree with this. I think he is top GM and I very much like his overall work. Juat saying that once in a while he makes strange signing which seems bad to me from the start and end up being bad. Last year it was Harty, this year I've always felt that after all is said and done Collins will be cut or kept only because of his guarantee.
  12. Makes you wonder why Beane guaranteed $1.5m to him if I'm not mistaken
  13. If you remove 4 letters from Tannehill and change the order of remaining 5 it becomes Allen. Coincidence? I don't think so!
  14. I didn't see Samuel there at all. Was it reported that he didn't participate?
  15. I said it in another thread - I don't want any of them right now. I'd wait till the trade deadline. See how our offense is doing, and if necessary, trade for someone then. Some teams with bad record might want to trade a player and it will be cheaper than now. Seahawks, Titans, Raiders, Bucs and Rams all seem like a good potential candidates for this (from one OP listed).
  16. After reading your conversation I think it is safe to say that neither of you is a parent of McGovern or Van Pran, you both want the best guy to win a job, but one of you expects that to be Van Pran rather soon, and the other one expect the opposite It will be interesting to see what happens next season for sure.
  17. I think the plan is to wait and see until trade deadline. If there is a need and opportunity, Beane will add WR1 through the trade then. If Seahawks are 3-5 at deadline or so Metcalf can be much cheaper than before the season. Sounds like a good plan to me. Give our current WRs every snap you can until mid season, and the reevaluate.
  18. This refers to Darryl Talley? I've been watching Bills last 8 years only so want to make sure who do you mean.
  19. Did he run faster than Keon is my question
  20. Nope, he is too slow to get injured Edit: Oops late to the party.
  21. @Richard Noggin @GunnerBill is it me or you both clearly forgot on Smoot? Given his contract (signed AFTER Toohill and draft) and his past production I'd say he is huge favorite to make the roster over both Toohill and Jonathan.
  22. Yeah but it is still wasted $750k if we cut him. If Morrow has no guarantees, and Ulofoshio makes the team, cap hit is $850k. And that's it.
  23. I just saw it on OTC and came to post this. Smoot has $1.75M guaranteed so he is close to lock to make the roster. Claypool and Jones have no real guarantees. Looks good to me. One thing I don't like is $750k guaranteed to Morrow. Seems like a wasted money if he gets released, which seems quite possible to me.
  24. I think we didn't, even though I feel much better about our WR room than average TBD poster. But I'd like to remind everybody that this time last year we had the same conversation about OL and RT in particular, when many thought Beane should've brought serious competition for Brown who was considered a bust. And this suddenly became a non issue after game 4 or so.
  25. Chase Claypool needs to be added to the poll...
