  1. OP: If you think FF talk is the most tedious thing I guess you have never heard casual poker players talk about that amazing hand they played ?
  2. "If you think Patrick DiMarco is going to be cut, you haven't been paying attention" Ramsay Bolton I could have missed something but what indicates that Spain goes to IR? I don't know how but I don't think all those 4 RB's will be on 53. Somebody gets traded. Same goes for Foster/Zay, one of them will be traded.
  3. I am watching his press conference, and just curious - is it me, or he is not able to pronounce "thank" at all? I am not native speaker but I've never heard such weird pronunciation.
  4. Anybody seen Giants game? From statline it seems that he had another solid game. I know it will probably doesn't mean that he will start against us already but who knows. I am rooting for the kid since he got so much hate during draft.
  5. 10 replies in and nobody commenting on "Chris" Ford? ? Dawson Know for me, since it will be his first game as a Bill. All others are interesting too, except for maybe Tyree.
  6. I didn't bother to do some research myself, and I am not able to evaluate players, but Cowboys fans almost unanimously think that its great deal for Cowboys and that Smith gave them discount since he is team first player and is happy for the opportunity he got.
  7. I expect similar record than you Gunner but I assume that path will be quite different. From your breakdown you expect us to be solid team which in general beats weaker opponents and lose to stronger ones. I expect it to be much more interesting, with some surprises here and there. I have it in quarters of the season: 1. Jets, Giants, Bengals, Pats: 3-1 We cannot lose to Bengals and we beat Pats at home. I am Bills fan only 3 years so I refuse to accept that BB and TB are unbeatable. We lose either opener or Giants after that. 2. Titans, Dolphins, Eagles, Redskins: 3-1 (total 6-2) This can go either way, but most likely loss is Titans. I fully expect us to beat Eagles at home in great game (just as we beat Tampa or Oakland two years ago), and if we win at Tennessee before, we really might lose a shocker vs Redskins. 3. Browns, Dolphins, Broncos, Cowboys: 3-1 (total 9-3) This is where we prove that we are for real. These are all tough games, and I think loss will be road game at Browns or Dolphins. I admit I might be foolishly optimistic but I really feel that Thanksgiving game at Dallas is meant to be huge for the Bills. We are not losing there. 4. Ravens, Steelers, Pats, Jets: 2-2 (total 11-5) We are not beating both Ravens and Steelers. We are not beating Pats twice. So whether we are 10-6 or 11-5 depends on game with Jets, which can go either way. But as I said I am really optimistic about Allen and whole team and we will not lose at home with potential division win and maybe even 1st round bye (a man can dream). My core prediction is that we will beat Pats, Eagles and Cowboys, and lose some random unexpected game (Giants and Redskins being the prime candidates).
  8. This is nonsense. We can lose opener and still easily be 6-2 by midseason. We can also win it and still be 4-4. It will be interesting game though. I expect anything from blowout by any team to tough game until the end. But it won't affect season significantly for neither team. Season is long.
  9. Gunner, I respect you as a poster and I don't think I like anyone more when it comes to football topics. But here you are completely off. A Chiefs fan making a poll about Bills QB on Broncos board and coming back to Bills board to share results is almost always trolling per se. But it is even more blatant with OP's clear history of coming here comparing Mahomes to Allen and trying to build "discussion" about it, while it is apparent that he just enjoys hitting jackpot with Mahomes and make Bills fans jealous/angry/defensive. It doesn't mean that he doesn't understand football and isn't able to discuss it here at the same time, but his main focus clearly IS to troll Bills fans. It has nothing to do with Bills fans being overly sensitive. Or it does, but that's the point - the ONLY reason to start this thread is Bills fans to get sensitive about Allen. That is exact definition of trolling in my book. Which doesn't mean that you are not correct that some of us are really sensitive and insecure when it comes to Allen and are easy to troll
  10. Why would you "bet heavily" against 13 (Watson getting injured)? That seems easily possible. I agree that H2O has some really bold predictions there though.
  11. How is everybody ommiting Jags even from playoff hunt is beyond me. Anyway, as for the Bills, it is all about Allen. If he improves, and core pieces stay healthy, there is no way how this team could win less than 10 games this year based on the improves roster and favorable schedule.
  12. I am sure that it will be very interesting also for Jets fans. Most of them were furious about Williams (which I find very odd) and wanted either Oliver of Allen. Funny how we are now tied to them in terms of Darnold vs Allen and Williams vs Oliver in two consecutive drafts. They had the choice both time, so really curious how it all pans out.
  13. Gunner, in what order would you take remaining players as a Bills GM? Do you follow your order or take needs into consideration? Also, in your order of remaining players, are those concerns you mention already factored in their positions? I.e. Taylor is no. 3 before or after you consider injury concern?
  14. Maybe its because unlike many of you I don't watch college football, so I only take info about players from this board, but I don't see any nightmare scenario tonight. Trade up for elite player? Draft Oliver, Hockenson, Taylor, J. Williams, Wilkins or even Metcalf at 9? Trade down and grab more picks? All fine with me. And if they do something what people here want the least (e.g. drafting Sweat or Gary at 9), at this stage I have no reason to believe that this FO makes worse decision than people in this board would. All in all, I am looking forward anything they do (drafing Oliver would not hurt though).
  15. Quickly checked their forums. Saying that fans are furious now would be an understatement.
  16. Draft starts 2 am in my time zone, which would really suck normally. However, unless something goes very wrong I don't work on Friday, so I can stay awake through the whole thing. Also, I have already tickets to Avengers Endgame on 9.40 pm on Thursday, so it fills the time prior draft perfectly.
