It's okay, Patrick (The Greatest Sports Person in the History of Mankind) can throw the ball to himself and still move up and down the field

OT…Now the Jets are the 85 Bears
RobbRiddick replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
They can absolutely be run on. Their run D ranked in the middle of the league last season. The Bills have never been able to effectively run it during Allen's time with the team, something a lot of his critics forget, so it'll be interesting to see if they can genuinely improve with the new guards and Cook being the lead back. It doesn't need to be dominant, just something teams take seriously. Also want to see some quick short passes to take advantage of the middle of their defense, which is the weakest part. It's probably asking too much for Kincaid to have a great day in his first ever regular season game but hopefully he and Knox can cause those LBs problems. Would also be good to see Cook get involved with the passing game. -
Breece Hall will play against The Bills

Yes you're right, thank God the phenomenon of hot takes within the media hasn't yet reached the NFL -

The point is, a loss doesn't mean they're destined to miss the playoffs. Even though that will become the narrative by tuesday morning -

Erm no, I'm saying teams often start badly but ultimately it has no bearing on their overall season. Instead of your Pats I'll use the bengals and burrow's 4 interceptions last season instead -

I don't think this will happen but imagine if the Bills blew them out? The NY media would just crucify the Jets and Rodgers (well, Saleh more than anyone). The truth is, even if we lose this game it's not a huge deal in the grand scheme of things. We destroyed NE on opening day 31-0. The team's seasons ended a little differently as I recall. In fact those great Pats teams often started slowly. -

Well the ideal for us is the offense starts well and builds a good lead to they have to lean on Rodgers in the second half -

Caleb Williams - unreal player (and who will get him?)
RobbRiddick replied to RobbRiddick's topic in The Stadium Wall
It'll be interesting to see what Arizona does with Kyler this season and, if they do finish with pick 1, what they're able to get for Kyler (and how that insane contract they gave him plays into things). I'd imagine the drama queens at ESPN are praying for this to happen as it'll make a very interesting offseason for them. -

Are you onboard with the Williams hype? As someone who doesn't watch the college game much I can honestly say I'm pretty stunned when I watch him and some of the things he does. There have been lots of electric guys playing QB in college who are highlight machines but he seems different. His passes just look so smooth and fluid, the arm strength is great, he's got wheels, seems to have coolness under pressure. I do completely get the Mahomes comparisons. It'll be fascinating to see how he does when he turns pro. -

RobbRiddick replied to RobbRiddick's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yeah I meant to say that in my post. Never mind having to face him, the NFC just needs some good young QBs to balance things out a bit. -
I don't really watch college ball but I've been watching some of this guy. Originally I wanted to see if the hype was real, then because he's just so damn good to watch. I hear a lot about him being Mahomes-esque and I actually can see that. Man, he throws a pretty pass, and his movement is so smooth and fluid. That pass he made as he headed out of bounds Vs Nevada was actually Allen-esque. He gets a lot of time to throw which is always something to take into account but wow, I'd be shocked if this guy isn't great in the NFL. And this brings me to who gets him next year. There's a lot of talk about certain teams tanking for him (mainly the Cards and Rams). That will definitely be one of the things to look out for later in the season. If the Cards get the number 1 pick it'll be interesting to see what they do with Kyler and what they'll be able to get for him in a trade (hasn't he made noises that he may not come out?) You have to imagine McVay is frothing at the mouth at the thought of getting this guy. What do the college experts think?

Season Predictions..have fun or flame away
RobbRiddick replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've gone over every week's schedule and ticked the team I think will win the game. Then I counted them up, so I have the records of all 32 teams. As always, I was super pessimistic with the Bills games due to my irrational fear of jinxing us. This resulted in me giving us too many losses and knocking us out of the playoffs (sorry). I also gave KC far more losses than anyone else will likely predict. But I decided not to change things and just post it as they turned out once I'd counted them up. NFC North (2) Vikes 14 - 3 (6) Lions 12 - 5 Packers 7 - 10 Bears 4 - 13 NFC East (3) Cowboys 12 - 5 (5) Eagles - 12 - 5 Giants 8 - 9 Commanders - 4 - 13 NFC South (4) Saints - 9 - 8 Bucs - 7 - 10 Falcs 3 -14 Panthers 2 - 15 NFC West (1) 49ers 15 - 2 (7) Seahawks 10 - 7 Rams 8 - 9 Cards 2 - 15 Wild Card Vikings beat Seahawks Cowboys beat Lions Eagles beat Saints Divisional Eagles beat 49ers Vikings beat Cowboys Championship Eagles beat Vikings AFC North (1) Ravens 14 - 3 (5) Bengals 13 - 4 (7) Steelers 11 - 6 Browns 7 - 10 AFC East (3) Dolphins 11 - 6 Jets 10 - 7 Bills 9 - 8 Pats 9 - 8 AFC South (4) Jags 8 - 9 Titans 8 - 9 Texans 4 - 13 Colts 4 - 13 AFC West (2) Chargers 14 - 3 (6) Chiefs 11 - 6 Broncos 8 - 9 Raiders 2 - 15 Wild Card 7 Steelers beat Chargers 6 Chiefs beat Dolphins 5 Bengals beat Jags Divisional Ravens beat Steelers Bengals beat Chiefs Championship Ravens beat Bengals Super Bowl Ravens beat Eagles Lamar wins NFL MVP and Super Bowl MVP Now, if I try and think of the Bills objectively, and if Dorsey uses the weapons around him smartly, I could see Josh having a monster season and doing what so many bandwagon fans predicted last season (MVP) -

Yeah, I'm not getting the whole "stealing is stealing" argument either. Technically it's true of course, but these huge companies steal from people every day. All you need to do is look on TripAdvisor to see people complaining about being overcharged or ripped off or getting a terrible experience in a large hotel or theme park, followed by the inevitable reply from said huge corporation that doesn't offer compensation or even an apology, just the standard "thanks for leaving feedback, we'll pass this on to the relevant team". Look at the NFL screwing over former players who made peanuts during their careers and ended up in wheelchairs, brain damaged etc. -
