Is Elam a healthy scratch again?

I'm thinking Kinkaid ran the wrong route on that TD play. He was suspiciously close to Gabe with no other receivers anywhere deep. I really like what we've seen so far from Kinkaid but sometimes he does look like a rookie out there.

Cook not breaking tackles is a legitimate gripe even though he’s obviously good. I’d prefer we start games with one of Murray or Harris. Soften up the defense first, and then bing in Cook to gash them for big plays. He can still get 20 touches like that.

There's no way to not see Elam as a miss. McD is a good secondary coach, and Kaiir has been through two training camps now, and we gave him real opportunity last year.

Defense was a little better. Offense was a lot better. Interesting to see Josh come out not sharp again. He missed Diggs open on first series, and then back of the end zone second series. But he rallied and was great from there. Hopefully this means Josh is locked in now. This receiving core has potential. Great game from Gabe. Kinkaid is clearly good against zone. Knox can play, and Cook has big play ability (even if he can't break a tackle). I really like this offense. Does it work better if we start with Murray or Harris and then go to Cook?

You could tell something was off right from the fitst series. Anyone have an explanation for that throw on third down that was waaaaay behind Diggs?

This game was 100% on Josh. No one let alone McD can overcome 4 I’ll advised turnovers from Josh. Let’s not resort to hyperbole just so we can scapeegoat the coaches.

Josh needs to step aside for the good of the team

If Josh was a regular QB and we didn’t know any better, we’d be calling for his back up right now.

Josh is single-handed my keeping Jets in this game. Awful decisions in big spots.

Oline still can’t block but Josh has had some head scratchers too. Ugly start.

I love our first three picks. Kincaid will seem like a luxury pick to anyone not paying attention but he's a potential fit/band aid to a bunch of our problems (e.g. OLine protection, size at receiver, slot post Beas, end zone weapon, etc.). O'Cyrus and Williams were need picks but there's nothing to suggest they won't be productive based on their history.

Kincaid is the key along with how he gets used. Running more 12 personnel might help with our line issues, and if Kincaid can also be an answer in the slot then we might bring an added element of toughness that was missing the last few years outside of Josh strong man runs. We need Diggs to not drop off (he's turning 30) and for our Oline to not suck as bad. It'd be nice if Cook made a leap too. Offense needs to do the heavy lifting this year because the defense is looking a little soft.
