  1. I'm not done watching this team because there are players I still believe in, but I have no faith this group can do anything this season. We need to rebuild.
  2. We could run the table and make it but we won't. We find ways to lose games. Hyde and Poyer are old. Diggs is getting old. Tre and Von are huge cap hits. Milano is a question mark. This team needs a year to collect assets/talent while we wait for an opportunity to clean up the cap and try to build out another team for Josh. We can even address coaching if we give it a year.
  3. I'm getting close to the point where I no longer care about playoffs. This team can't get out of its own way. We need a rebuild which would be helped with a better draft pick.
  4. If we played this game 100x and played like we have and Eagles played like they have, we're doing better than a 10 point lead in 97 of the 100x.
  5. Big time props to McD for the first half game plan.
  6. So this game would be over if officials hadn't f up the game. I can't remember us being involved in something this ridiculously one-sided.
  7. Refs are f up the game
  8. From a pure impact standpoint, I think yes. He hit his ceiling two years ago and has regressed slightly since the elbow injury last year. Like it or not, Josh will never be as dangerous escaping the pocket or with designed runs as he was in his early-mid twenties. That said, he hasn't hit his ceiling as a passer imo, and I fully expect him to get incrementally better at traditional QB things as he ages.
  9. I will admit I liked the plan to draft Kincaid and use more 12 personnel concepts and 11 with Kincaid in the slot to better protect Josh. It could still work imo with better play calling. We're not as one dimensional playing like that. But we still need to play spread a lot of the time too and we often didn't find the right balance or even recognize when it was time to change course. Game planning has to be part of the conversation re our poor starts. But I disagree with putting everything on Dorsey. Josh has got to take some blame. His poor/slow decision making has led to turnovers and killed drives. He's still rifling the football sometimes leading to drops. Our Oline with Morse is never going to be a strong running team. We're built to pass. We have to be better.
  10. This interview all but confirms what I've been seeing with Josh. We've tried to turn him into a pocket passer. Teams adjusted right away starting with the Jets game. Josh isn't able to beat the zone, and now we've fired to the OC to "inject some confidence" into the team (read: Josh). He's too good to not adjust. We've seen him do it before overcoming accuracy issues. It's just going to take some time.
  11. This was probably inevitable given how the season has gone, but firing Dorsey after last night’s debacle reeks of desperation. It wasn’t Dorsey’s fault that Josh kept throwing it to the Broncos, or that Josh and Cook couldn’t hang onto the football.
  12. Coaching lost it at the end but we had 4 turnovers and probably should have had 6 turnovers. Let's keep the focus where it needs to be. I'm so frustrated with our offense. We don't start playinig until the second half and basically underperform every week now.
  13. This year's team is so hard to cheer for sometimes
  14. At some point it's time to admit something is going on with Allen. You can't just handwave away all these turnovers. He's been inaccurate more this year too.
  15. These three don't concern me as much as the McBeane extensions. What the heck do we do with those? Pegulas are not going to eat them.
  16. How many years does McD have left on his contract?
  17. We've had so many bad first halves offensively this year. Our game plans suck. Our execution has sucked, especially the turnovers.
  18. Give Linval all the snaps please
  19. I don't feel great about our ability to stop them. We need some fumbles or a kick off we return for a TD.
  20. Wow unreal break up by Jackson
  21. Great throw on the run to Shakir. Wow.
  22. Maybe we can win the turnover battle. Let's Fing Go.
  23. I don't understand how Elam has such a good PFF grade when literally anyone else who grades him based on All 22 says he sucks. He seems to get picked on a lot too which tells you what opposing OCs think of him. It might be too late to trade him in which case he's a camp cut next year.
  24. This is suh a jinx thread. What the heck OPer?? The reason why we should be scared of the Bengals is because their Oline has a history of manhandling our Dline, and now we're missing our toughest DT and best linebacker. We probably aren't going to win if we can't stop them and lose TOP.
