People have unrealistic expectations. This year is about Josh learning to protect the football and play situational football. Dont throw dumb picks on 1st and 2nd down. Learn to take a sack or throw the ball away if need be. Next year they go out and get a true physical #1 wr to open up John Brown more and slide all the wrs down one peg where they should be. Oh and along the way we have 6 wins and a great shot at playoffs. I'd consider 2019 a massive success so far. With the schedule they have there will be some games where he will have to put it up 40 times and we can revisit if he has gotten better with the offense on his back.

Daboll's playcalling didnt exactly give him a lot of opportunities to shine. Like to see him wrap the ball with two hands like a rb when he's in traffic Defenders are really targeting that ball. Foster sucks. That is two games he made no adjustment on the ball in the air They arent always going to land in your arms in stride 60 yards downfield. The #1 need for next year is a big explosive wr.

I think not only making the playoffs but at least winning one game should be where the bar is set. Not sure they can get there unless we see a more aggressive offense and defense. They haven't asked Allen to do a whole lot the past several games. I wonder if they just expect him to turn it on when the defense struggles again

Been like that the past few games. Today was a good win but after so many Buffalo collapses over the years it was tough to watch them sitting on 7 point lead for half the game. Think folks were just venting the frustration of the defense once again soft at the point of attack and the offense again disappearing for stretches.

How quickly we forget Dallas offense was in the toilet and people were calling Dak a bust before they traded for Cooper. You saw he missed a game or most of it and how bad the Cowboys offense was

On offense you have a number of things working themselves out. Lot of new personnel on offense. Lack of explosive players at the skill position. QB still learning his craft. Questionable play calling , use of personnel by the OC. Too any turnovers and dumb pre snap penalties by the offense. On defense the play calling is too conservative. Defense is not generating enough pressure and not enough turnovers to set up the offense by default. Same as the offense the Bills lack a true difference maker on the D line. Was hoping Ed Oliver would be that guy

Feels like it . To Me Allen looked off in his demeanor right from the start like he knew the gameplan and was not into it. If McDermott wants to play it safe run the ball and go play action from a pro set Right now I hate this shotgun small ball thing were running. I'm still hopeful the offense improves as the season goes on but it looks like were talent deficient again on offense.. We simply dont have any scary players on offense that can dictate to a defense. John Brown is nice but if he's the best thing we got going that isnt saying much

C- at times the Bills will put together a 10 play drive but then they follow it up with a quarter and a half of nothing . A lot of it is execution and being to cute with play calls If Gore is working feed him. He gets tired give it to the next back. He needs to remove the endless Allen hard count. Its clear our O line and Lee Smith are not disciplined enough and we get more false starts plus it allows the D line to time it when Allen is getting the ball with 1 on the clock.
