I went with a B. Solid but not spectacular. Even if they come out with a starting CB, a starting special team LB, a developmental WR and a starting punter, that’s not too bad. Won’t blow you away, but could do far worse.
People need to remember that a lot of these ESPN scouts are ESPN scouts for a reason. If these guys were good at evaluating talent they would be making a hell of a lot more money working for an nfl team.
To be fair, I think it’s more likely than not that actually happened twice so far. It’s obvious Bean hates the board in the second. And I’d think McDuffie was ranked higher than Elam. Of course we will never know the truth.
As nuts as it sounds, I wouldn’t hate it. I like his upside, he just needs a lot of polish. He could get it here. And likely, Allen will miss time somewhere in the next few years. Also, if Malik develops nicely you can get a return for him.
Don’t love it. Almost in the “why bother” tier. Even if you have 5 guys graded close. I’d rather get my pick of the litter then get a 6th and get whoever is left.
It does seem that they jumped the Bills picks twice. But we will never know. Also, absolutely no WR they were getting was going to be half of what Tyreek was.
Should never happen. Maybe I’m just a year older and angrier, but the draft is quite annoying to me this round. Every special guest announcing the picks. I get the make a wish kids, that’s cool. But having a player like Claypool announce, why? Just have the Commish do it and hurry on.
