Unrelated, but curious. I cancelled Buffalo news a few years ago. What’s the going rate these days for home delivery? -

Love Peter Doocy calling them out and hearing the same garbage repeated time and time again. “Pandemic, Putin Price Hike”. -

All this data is just completely incompatible with anything but a recession. It’s coming, and fast. -

Just play an entire extra 15 minute quarter. Whoever is in the lead after that is the winner. If it’s a tie, then each team is awarded a tie. Why the NFL ever thought they needed to complicate things in the first place is beyond me. -
I won't watch ESPN because Stephen A Smith might be on. Not many people I want to listen to less than that guy.

Uvalde spends 40% of its budget on policing. If a city of 16,000 sends 40% of their budget to their police force and only has 3 officers, that’s a gross misuse of funding.

Is this a joke?!!!! They had their own SWAT team with their massive (for a tiny town) budget? Yet they did nothing until the FEDERAL tactical team got on scene. So, what exactly does the Uvalde SWAT team do then? Other than collect their paychecks for doing nothing.

I think the fact that it’s a small town should have actually helped them respond quicker. Even if all they have are two full time deputies. Uvalde is listed as 7.64 square miles. For a small city, you should be able to get anywhere within 5 minutes. The only excuse would be if they had no full time police department. But that doesn’t seem likely. If they had responded to the crash/reports of shots fired at two pedestrians faster than FOURTEEN minutes then the shooter wouldn’t have been able to enter the school. Fourteen minutes is an eternity in response time. Driving at a leisurely 40 miles an hour they could have got entirely across the city.

40% without one iota of a competent leader. Isn’t that crazy. And it was the border patrol that eventually went in? Unless that part of the story was a lie too (since this town can’t seem to get any part of the story correct).

I kind of get where you were going with this, but it misses the mark IMO. Shouldn't use a country that has 1/3rd the population of the US yet has two to three times the total amount of homicides in any given year. I think it more points to an extreme cowardice on the part of this police department. Law enforcement around the country is trained to engage the threat immediately. The fact that this department couldn't find one competent scene commander for about an hour is inexcusable. Heads will roll for this one. Civil lawsuits are certain to follow. The mayor should already be preparing to fire the entirety of the police departments leadership. Compare this town to the response that Buffalo PD had, on scene within 2 minutes and entering immediately. One department should be hailed as heroes, the other should be fired for dereliction of duty.

Kim is an absolute idiot IMO. Psychopath is probably the right word too. She has given up so much of her promising career for nothing. She gave up her Mesa Verde gig because she sided with some guy who couldn't cope with the fact that he didn't own the land he built his house on. She gives up Schweickert, who seemingly let her get paid her massive salary to not do any real work for the firm. She gives up her "dream job" interview. At this point I am hoping to see Lalo take care of her by the end of BCS.
