    Surprised it took this long honestly. How many NFL coordinators/head coaches has this college really had? You’d think that alone would have got you in year one.

    Didn’t know any of this! Quite the track record. Reid seems to be an extreme enabler for a lot of terrible people.

    I’m not sure this applies to a punter. A QB? Absolutely. A WR? Probably. But a punter? The difference in average punt by 5 yards probably isn’t enough to move the needle in favor of signing someone who is going to come with a ton of negative publicity.

    What is completely idiotic is that these leagues are going to cannabalize each other for the completely mediocre talent they have to choose from in the first place. I don’t know if one of these leagues could have ever succeeded. But TWO competing leagues? Not a snowballs chance.

    Same solution I’ve been peddling for years. 1. Everything is challengeable and coaches only get two the entire game. No getting a third if you win two, just two total. 2. Plays are reviewed in real time. If it isn’t obvious in real time, it isn’t obvious. 3. There is a “shot clock” of 2-3 minutes. If there isn’t a reversal by then, the call on the field stands.

    I have always loved Beane's swagger. But his draft history is not particularly good. Hoping he starts bucking that trend when we need it the most.

    Somewhat unrelated, but every time I hear someone is majoring in anthropology my first though is “why is someone going to college to learn how to give away money”. Then I have to remind myself that’s a philanthropist.

    I hope this game gets roasted as it should. NFL officiating is garbage and ruins the game. Put one official on the field to spot the ball and one sky judge. Get rid of the rest of them.

    I’d think that ship has sailed. Every DC candidate worth anything has been snatched up. At this point it would likely be foolish to move on from Frazier. Would have had to do that 2 weeks ago.
