  1. Sanu is absolutely redundant on this team right now. Zero incentive to move down 5 spots for him. I give him no value.
  2. Josh Allen and Nick Bosa are two guys I cannot see anyway in the world end up in a Bills uniform. I just can’t stretch that far. I can see Quinnen Williams sliding to 5 and the Bills trading up to grab him. But I just can’t see it for Allen or Bosa. Even if one of them slide to 5, the Bucs aren’t giving that up. Even if they slide to 6, the Giants are snatching them up with a huge smile. There is just no way they slide past 6. Josh Allen is probably the one guy in this draft I wouldn’t be angry giving up a 2020 1st to go up and get. Cornerstone edge rusher for this team for a very very long time.
  3. I’m always super worried about injury/health concerns. So much risk when it’s in the high 1st. Hockenson is my top guy. I feel he helps in the blocking and passing game. A young QB needs that safety blanket like Hockenson, drafting him would be huge.
  4. Starts with the character issues. I don’t believe it was ever released why he was dismissed from Michigan State, but it’s speculated to be theft and marijuana. Then his heart condition scares me away. There isn’t much precedent of NFL players with that type of issue. Some soccer players, few NFL players. I’m also wary of combine warriors who increase their stock substantially at the combine. I recall Sweat being a projected 20-30 pick and then after the combine 9-20 projections seem common. I just feel there is much better talent with less risks. In all honesty if it’s Montez Sweat at 9 I would rather just trade down and try to get him later or get a comparable prospect.
  5. Montez Sweat is there with Rashan Gary on my “do not want at all” list.
  6. The NFL Network had their annual big mock draft where they get together 8 “analysts”. Bucky Brooks, picking for the Bills, took Noah Fant at 9 after Hockenson went 7th. If that scenario happens I’ll probably break my TV. That would be one of the biggest NFL draft reaches I’ve ever seen.
  7. I’m not trading up unless it is to 5 or lower. No interest in giving up a 2020 first to move up a mere 6-7 spots.
  8. Even if Clark is double the edge rusher Dee Ford is, I take Ford+ 1st everyday.
  9. He should drop like a rock. I’m always wary of guys with injuries prior to the draft. That injury risk doesn’t get any better when your playing with the most freak athletes.
  10. Can he honestly have any trade value at all? Put together a garbage year, was stopped for negative yardage far too much, is old, has a high cap hit. I can’t really see a positive. Your better off taking a shot on a 5-UDFA RB. If he were to be heavily shopped I cannot see him getting anything more than a 5th. I would expect a 7th. At the return he would get it is probably better to just keep him for locker room cohesion.
  11. Know what pains me the most about that trade, that we traded with the wrong team. Who knows if the Houston deal was on the table, but would have been nice to get lucky and have taken the Houston deal. 4th overall+ a 1st (around 25 I think Houston had) in the current draft sure sounds a lot better than 27th overall+22nd overall in the next draft. And we never would have heard the end of passing on Mahomes in that situation.
  12. This would probably be really good for the Bills. If only Murray goes in the top 9, 9 is probably a good spot to trade up to and grab Haskins.
  13. I’m not sure I would ever take a DT first overall. If you aren’t taking Murray trade out of number 1, anything you get is better than taking a DT first overall. Personally Allen or Bosa would be my pick at first overall.
  14. I don’t believe satellite rights are in jeopardy, just streaming rights. The more options for us consumers the better.
  15. I feel like there will be a lot of teams trying to trade down this year. I could see the Jets, Bucs, and Bills minimum in the top 9.
  16. Chances the 2018 draft ends up cracking this list? If Mayfield, Darnold and Allen hit potential I think it does.
  17. I am counting down the days and hours. I like so many prospects this year, can’t wait to see where they go. Then again, my motto= Football is life
  18. Shocked they actually employed an American customer service rep. Whenever I call Directv I get the out sourced call center in India. Every. Darn. Time.
  19. Only reason I have Directv is the Sunday Ticket. Their customer support/service is absolutely non-existent.
  20. I first read this as “what would it take for this franchise to go away”
  21. But their method isn’t to project for you players who may play well in the future. They are there to evaluate players in games they have played. If a 3-4 year veteran outplays that rookie in the 8 games he played in that season then he will be ranked higher.
  22. Well, they have to grade him on the games he played in, no? They can’t project him falling back down to earth and use that in the PFF grades for the games he’s actually played in.
