  1. 3-0 Columbus. I did not in my wildest dreams expect them to take the series back to columbus up 2-0 but I love it. I always root for the upset.
  2. If Quinnen falls to 5 I could easily see the Bucs taking him and cutting/trading Gerald McCoy.
  3. To me, the Bucs at 5 is the sweet spot for any trade up. I don’t see the top 4 as possible or anyway feasible. At 5 it starts getting interesting. If Quinnen Williams/Josh’s Allen/ Nick Bosa are there at 5 I would give up almost whatever it takes. And it would take an extremely high price because the Bucs have a need for all 3 of those guys, especially if they move on from McCoy. So more than likely the Bucs just say “thank you very much” and take the sliding player. Maybe number 9 and a 2020 1st makes them think twice though.
  4. I would take him in the 6th-UDFA. Wouldn’t take him any higher. Honestly see zero need with Barkley on the roster. He’s young enough to back up Allen for a long time. If we had Allen/Anderson as our only 2 QB’s I would be all for Tyree as early as the 5th
  5. I am with you 100%. Hated Rosen at the draft, didn’t want him, still think he’s a sh*t leader. Even with that, I absolutely would rather have Rosen+Nick Bosa than Kyler Murray. Murray has a lot to overcome to not bust IMO. The examples of mobile QB’s who have overcame that height is an extremely short list. I know Baker is weighing on the decision, but he wasn’t even close to that short. Russel Wilson is a good comparison. However, Russel went in the 3rd round as a very similar prospect to Murray. I might take a flier on him as an athlete, but never at first overall.
  6. That little running part is pretty huge though. When it accounts for 8 TD’s, numerous drives extended and a whole host of plays extended. Rosen had 11 passing TDS the entire year, Allen almost had that rushing. If Allen were a pure pocket statue then they would both be labeled accordingly.
  7. It just pains me how truly unintelligent many of these guys are. You make millions a year, and you can’t settle whatever it is that made your license suspended? Hire a traffic lawyer and pay the fine. These are the guys who go bankrupt after leaving the league.
  8. If they didn’t get paid for the 8 weeks that they worked then they should absolutely get paid. Lawsuit should be in their favor easily. Now the actual problem, collecting. They will get in line with a long line of debtors who will want what little assets the AAF has. The investors behind the league will be completely off limits.
  9. I highly doubt those brilliant business men didn’t form some type of LLC to abolish their liability. There are very few company types where if it fails you can go after the businessman behind the company.
  10. The problem with this is, how do you sue a defunct league? Sure the league signed a 3 year contract with you. The league is no more, no funding, no income. I’m sure they would be more than happy to give you a share of the debt load if you truly want to be part owner.
  11. If it were me, I would have done the same thing. You are already locked into top 10 in the NFL draft, why risk injury and falling out of the first round? That is potentially millions to play for a Houston team for nothing but a bowl ring. I would have taken it a step further and just withdrawn from school Ala Bosa. Say I am tending to my injury and making sure I’m 100% for the combine. The argument with the coach, I feel the coach is more at fault than Oliver. Does that team really not have enough money to afford field jackets for everyone? If it is cold why would Oliver want to stand there and remain cold when there is a jacket within reach. IMO all three of these are completely excuseable and justifiable. I still want Oliver at 9. I just fear he will not make it that far.
  12. I felt it was a needed position for the Seahawks and the value definitely fit. Wanted Clelin Ferrell but he was gone by this point.
  13. With pick 21 Seattle is proud to select CB Byron Murphy from Washington. @Watkins101 as the Houston Texans, you are on the clock
  14. Am I the only one who actually really likes these uniforms? Reminds me of something out of the Arena league, and I’m not saying that as a negative comment. The NFL tries to be too “to there roots” oftentimes. Nothing wrong with evolving a uniform. All uniforms don’t have to look like they are out of the 70’s.
  15. Good move. No reason not to bring him in for training camp. Need to bring 90 guys somehow.
  16. With a trade down to the 15-25 range I wouldn’t mind it.
  17. I don’t understand this. Why didn’t he just sign earlier and skip out the last few AAF games. All their contracts had full NFL out clauses from what I read.
  18. I’ll grab the Seahawks. Could be interesting with the Russel Wilson situation.
  19. They should have figured out revenue as an absolute bare minimum. With a new league, they should have literally estimated $0. They clearly way overshot and paid the price. I don’t think the XFL was going to survive either, but this definitely increases their chances. If they had to compete against the NFL and split the lower level feeder league talent with the AAF the XFL would be dead in the water.
  20. This is absolutely nuts. How did this league not have the funding for an entire season? It is mind blowing to me. You had set costs, every player was on an 80k per year deal. You can accurately estimate travel costs. Where was the problem? How did you not have the exact figure, at least down to a very close amount.
  21. Think it would take at least a 2020 first rounder to move from 9 —> 5, which I think is the absolute latest you get Quinnen Williams this year.
  22. Quinnen Williams, Josh Allen or Nick Bosa at 5 and I give up whatever it takes. 9th overall+2020 1st+?
  23. Maybe it’s just because I don’t have much of a sense of humor. But I hate April fools. I don’t find a “joke” funny when everyone knows what day it is.
