53-Man Roster Competition
PetermansRedemption replied to JGMcD2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Depth, depth, depth. It’s important to have top end talent, it’s almost as important to have depth. The Bills probably lose 1-3 guys per game to injury. It’s vitally important that you have a guy who is of at least average talent ready to step in and fill in. We have not had anything close to depth in recent years. It’s looking like that might happen this season. -
I don’t see a trade up working this year. Who are you trading up with? Arizona stays at 1 and it would cost too much anyways San Francisco, maybe, but the cost is too prohibitive (multiple 1sts) Jets? I doubt they trade with a division rival Oakland? How many firsts do they need? So maybe you can get to 5 and the Bucs. That’s an intriguing spot. Question is, are Bosa, Allen and Quinnen Williams gone by then? Most likely they are. So then who are you trading up for? Gary or Sweat? One of them would almost certainly be there at 9 and I don’t think either of them are worth a trade up. Giants at 6? No way they are trading out of there. They wouldn’t trade out of 2 last year for a kings ransom, instead drafting a running back. Jacksonville and Detroit at 7-8 all the talent worth trading up for almost certainly gone. It takes two to tango

Josh Allen, Sicko Mode !!!

You mean all of them?! -
Are there actually people crazy enough to think it’s an NFL competitor?
-
I’m just obsessed with football, so I watch anytime any of it is on TV. NFL Network is on my TV hours each day. I watch all the game replays. During football season, it’s college anytime it’s on and NFL every Thursday, all day Sunday, and every Monday. Saturday’s I’ll have multiple college games on. Sunday’s I’ll watch the Bills and then Redzone and then Sunday night. I have loved having the Alliance to watch when there isn’t any other live football on. Did the Alliance steal your lunch money in school or something? What’s the downside to having Football on during the off season. It’s not like it’s watering down the NFL’s talent pool.

Antonio Brown on Instagram trashing Bills!

On a jackass scale of 1- Antonio Brown, he’s definitely Antonio Brown level. -
New rule to replace onside kick?
PetermansRedemption replied to Mij yllek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, however, it must be from a punt, which has to be a literal 0% proposition. I don’t remember it ever happening. So you would be going from a 0% success rate currently to a 20% success rate. This isn’t like the onside kick where it had a 20% success rate and the NFL killed it and are not looking to correct it. -

New rule to replace onside kick?
PetermansRedemption replied to Mij yllek's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Love the alternative to an onside. But one thing stuck out to me “The play could be attempted after any score, including a touchdown or a field goal. A team could also attempt the fourth-and-15 after giving up a safety.” Why on earth would a team that just gave up a safety have an option of performing an onside conversion. That’s just plain stupid. -
Oh for sure. But even if a brand new stadium needed to be constructed. I just can’t believe no major sports owner or prospective owner hasn’t tried to enter the 7th biggest city in the country.
-
It’s definitely a bit dated. But I think a facelift would be pretty economical. The location of it is absolutely stellar. Literally a 5 minute walk from the river walk. The river walk contains as many bars and restaurants as you can imagine. Completely perfect for a downtown stadium/arena.

Would the Bills select Josh Allen?

If Josh Allen falls to the Bills this season I would do backflips down the sidewalk.- 62 replies

I can’t for the life of me figure out why San Antonio only has one big 5 team (NHL, NFL, MLB, MLS, NBA). 7th largest city in the country, and one hour away from the 11th largest city (Austin), which has ZERO big 5 teams. They come out in droves to support the Spurs of the NBA and support the Rampage of the AHL well. They have the Alamodome with a capacity of around 70k in the heart of the city which is sitting unused, other than the alliance now. At the absolute least, they should have an MLS team.

Shaq Lawson 5th year option
PetermansRedemption replied to Bleeding Bills Blue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I would vote for option 3, work to extend him without exercising the option. Barring that, I would pick up the option. -
Should the NFL eliminate the onside kick?
PetermansRedemption replied to Buffalo03's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Because I’ve already beat the drum ad naseum of the 4 successful conversions on 53 attempts. In this post I was illustrating how infrequent the play is. Read the entire thread and you’ll be up to speed ?
