  1. Absolutely. He averaged 58 yards and .70 TD’s per game on a team that also saw their WR drafted in the first two rounds, TE drafted in the 3rd, and another receiver that will be drafted. It isn’t like he caught one pass for 10 yards per game and only dominated the combine. I was pounding the table for him in the late 2nd round hard. Would far and away rather have D.K. than Singletary and Knox but I hope history proves me wrong. Even if all he did was run streaks five times a game in his rookie year I would have been ecstatic. He can outrun and outmuscle whatever DB they put to cover him. He’s going to be open on one of those streak routes or make a play.
  2. I would have taken him in the third even if all they did this year was tell him to run straight. Eventually he’s going to burn that RB and catch a bomb. With Buffalo’s WR signings I actually thought D.K. would be perfect here. Could ease him in through a few plays a game. Have him take over more of the load next year or the year after. I’m really disappointed he isn’t a Bill but time will tell.
  3. Hype or not, as a combine warrior alone, I would have been thrilled with DK in the 3rd round. Far more than a RB. It’s not like D.K. didn’t produce when not injured.
  4. I agree with, and support this. Trade McCoy for whatever you can get. Singletary and Yeldon are the two RB’s I absolutely want on the roster. Don’t care much about the others but am intrigued by the season Gore had last year on an average at best Dolphins team. Love Yeldon for 3rd down receiving and Singletary due to recency bias.
  5. Very raw player who is in the same mold as Allen. Huge arm (was yelled at for throwing too hard at the combine), good mobility, questionable accuracy and ball security. I’m very excited to have him on this team. I would roll with Allen/Barkley with Tyree on the practice squad.
  6. He absolutely, 100% did not write this. You don’t go from “nine mistakes made ahead of me” to being ok with what Arizona just did to him.
  7. I just discovered the story that is David Sills football career. This guy is fascinating. USC QB recruit in the 7th grade. De-commits, goes to WVU, converts to WR, goes to junior college to play QB, goes back to WVU as a WR and lights it up. I can’t figure out how this guy wasn’t drafted given his college production? Anyone know the answer to that one. Did scouts just think he caught all these TDS by dumb luck? It’s not like he played at some division 3 football program.
  8. I agree with this. They should be bringing up Robert Foster and Levi Wallace in every single UDFA pitch.
  9. Biggest crock in the NFL. Let me give you a draft pick because you couldn’t or wouldn’t re-sign your player.
  10. Agreed. Would love Jackson, Johnson and Hodge. Anthony Johnson at the top of my list.
  11. The time for this, IMO was to trade up in the 3rd and grab Metcalf instead of taking a RB.
  12. They currently have 5 that even have a possibility of making the roster. And that is 5 WITH Marcus Murphy counted, who is an easy cut ?
  13. 40 yard dash does not equal real world quickness. How often do you get the opportunity to run a full 40 yards on a football field ?‍♂️
  14. A lot of people are in the “I don’t know about him, he sucks” camp. Or the “it’s not the ONE prospect I wanted, I hate him”.
  15. Could have gotten Allen at 6 and Jones at 17 or with a slight trade up if he got nervous. Would have been a far far better draft for the Gettleman
  16. WR isn’t even close to near the top of the needs list right now. CB is definitely higher. No clear cut number one receivers in this draft. Any could develop into one, but all look like number 2-3’s at this point. We have plenty of those currently.
  17. Oh well. They will need a QB eventually. He can play with Brady for a year and then let his production fall off a cliff under random QB purgatory for years.
  18. There are about 15 guys I would love in the 2nd. Metcalf, N’Keal Harry and Greedy Williams top the list. CB isn’t a big need right now, but Greedy in the 2nd ?. Have two top notch LSU corners.
  19. Gettleman’s gonna Gettleman. Was Beane making the calls in Carolina? This guy is a joke. Take a RB at 2 in a great QB draft? Then reach for one at 6 in the very next draft. GENIUS
  20. What’s the cost to trade from 41 to the 20’s? I’d give up 41, a 3rd and a 4th to move up for Metcalf.
  21. I would take Allen over Williams. Allen is the only guy I’m giving up a 2020 1 for.
