Impact player....Over used, but acurate!

All I'm looking for is a smart draft, maybe a couple more fair to good free agent pick ups, and most importantly a solid game plan and effective use of the players we have. Example: a certain rb on the field on third downs. Oh and maybe some honesty during post game media sessions, yeah that would be nice.

OK, OK I know President Bush's numbers are down, make that way down, the popularity of the republican controlled congress is really low too. So the pundits keep talking ablout how this years elections may very well see both houses change hands. Blah, Blah...... So now that I've summed that up what still bothers me, is that, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER do "we" talk about specific polls impacting individual senators and house members. For instance, I like many of you, am very frustrated with congress, the members piss me off, but to honest with you, I really like my rep and I like both my senators. Is it likely that I would vote against my "local" guy? No it is not! Would I, if I could vote against your local guy??? Sure as hell I would! So you see as much as "we" hate congress, we really don't hate our guy/girl who represents us. Just something to think about.

This is were I thought this might go....I just get a little concerned about excitment created over a guy who can run and jump, in the combines, etc. and now is on everyones radar, however, when it was time to play on Saturday he was just another guy hoping to get the opportunity to play on Sundays. Sure NFL coaches do have the ability to identify players who have not fully matured and look to have a promising furture in the NFL and that most certainly must be taken into account, but I think I want the player who was tops coming out of college and then did fair to good as opposed to the OK college player who was great at the comnbine/workouts.

We are seeing so many players values rise "because of good/great workouts" not to mention a number of players who have had their value drop due to less than stellar workouts. So I must ask the question: Is it better to go with those players who have performed at a top level each and every Saturday over the past couple seasons and then for whatever reason does not perform well during his "workout" or is it best to go with those who have not been top performers on Saturday and now have come on like gang busters in controlled workouts in front of NFL coaches?

So it's Bruce who gets med evaced out??? Does this mean there will be no tribal council? If I remember, in one of the first seasons (Austrailia) some guy got burned pretty badly, was med evaced out and no one else went that week. The great thing for Terry is that he has not pissed off anyone. The others are going to have to start betraying there fellow tribe members. If Terry can win immunity two more times he's looking pretty good.

I have not seen Porky's since maybe 1985, I think I might even rent it this weekend.

No guarantees but my cousin, who is about 10 years younger than me, was in the same boat school wise and girl wise. He chose the girl. Got married, got a job, they had a baby, after a few years he entered college. Today he is still married, has two kids, and will complete his interning in Seattle sometime this year. We too called him stupid for the choices he was making, but now we just call him doctor. Yes, this outcome is very unlikely, but it does happen.
