Today I am proposing a 30 day cooling off period. Effective at 12 noon ET let us spend our posting time discussing the the Buffalo Bills football operations. This moratorium would halt all topics that have anything to do with any posibility of the Bills moving. 30 days starting at noon today...who's with me?

LA is right on, I work for a GC who owns about 40 house that he rents; and most states require a certain amount of time in which notice must be given. I'm assuming that this is a large apartment complex and/or owned by a company that owns a number of properties and either has lawers on staff or access to one. That said I am sure they are following the law. I do understand your concern about "strangers" walking throughout your home so I might sugest that you call the landlord and express your concern and invite them to come over right then or any other time that you are home. If they are reasonable folks and value you as a tenent they probably will work with you. The key is offer them to come over right then, you don't want to make it look like you are trying to hide something by delaying their little visit. Good Luck!

Merge if you must, but I am really concerned about the latest events surounding our beloved teams owner. Is it me or does anyone else out there think that just maybe Mr. Wilson wants to be the ONLY owner of the Buffalo Bills? In the past he has indicated that at some point he would have to look for people to sell his team to. This would be needed because he was not going to to leave it to his family, primarily due to taxes. He witnessed what happened to the Washington Redskins when there long time owner tried to leave the the team to his son, it just was not financially possible. The Redskins had to be sold to an outsider, bring in Dan Snyder. What gets me wondering is that Mr. Wilson is now questioning whether "anyone" can own the Bills in Buffalo under the current finacial rules of the NFL. So while he wonders this, he drops hints that the team might have to be moved in order for him (his family) to make proper money (my words), this while he surrounds himself with New York Pols and pleads poverty. Please Mr. Wilson, don't make these assumptions about possible owners. Gollisano, Kelly and Kemp have all said they will do what they have to, to keep the Bills in Buffalo. The only one hinting that the Bills might not be able to stay in Buffalo is Mr. Wilson. I'm sorry to say this but his hinting, while correct about the NFL's revenue sharing, is starting to sound pretty selfish. Maybe it's not fair to call the long time owner selfish, but he can't cry about possibly not being able to afford to keep the team in Buffalo and then imply that no one else could keep the team here either. The man is nearly 90 years old, reservations are being made for him at the great luxury box in the sky, he is not a 50 plus year old owner who could arguably say; "look I want to own this team, I'm not selling it to anyone, but I can't afford to stay in Buffalo so I'm packing the Mayflower vans and moving to "X" city." This is great that Mr. Wilson is talking about this, hell he needs to scream about this, to all the people in Albany and in NY (NFL). Mr. Wilson is saying that the NFL must keep a team in Buffalo, please don't give me the old argument that business packs up and moves away and life goes on, this is not your standard wigget business, this is part of the soul of a community, a region; so scream Mr. Wilson until they not only hear you but that they understand you. Oh and it probably is a really good time to also start talking about selling the team to people who WILL keep the team in Buffalo. You need to talk to people, not your kids and certainly not the NFL after you carry on to that great sky box in the sky.

I really do not understand how rumors can be considered a "situation". The status for QB at One Bills Drive is that we have three QB's that will be competing for a job. The first two were here last year and split duties. The split was based on the "needs" and or "desires" of the previous coach. The third candidate has been a backup to a sure bet at the HOF. oh I'll give him a B

While I was watching the four NFL playoff games last weekend, my wife and I got into a conversation about life and death, and the need for living wills. During the course of the conversation I told her that I never wanted to exist in a vegetative state , dependent on some machine and taking fluids from a bottle. She got up, unplugged the TV and threw out all my beer. Man, sometimes it 's tough being married to a smartass.

Ok that yahoo, err the guy from Yahoo is reporting of the rumors that the Bills "might" be looking to trade JP (Note: the Bills might also be looking to build a brand new stadium in downtown Buffalo, but....) However, the item that stuck out the greatest for me in that article is that this guy is hearing that the Bills might take over Ngata is WINSTON JUSTICE. Now I know he is a very good football player, but at number 8 overall? Hell I'm still not sure we should even take Ngata with that pick, but Justice? This is getting sooo painfull.
