  1. The high draft choice spent on Cody and reluctance to admit they whiffed is the only reason he's here. The Teller fiasco and the Ford pick, puts the Cromer hiring in perspective. Beane is brilliant but he must get the O-line right in order to establish a run game and maximize our advantage over every other team, Josh Allen.
  2. A Sandy fan and Bills Fan. Much respect.
  3. Yea, the 13 seconds debacle and KC scoring on 3 straight long drives at the end of the game, along with allowing 30+ pts to the 4 good offenses we played (Indy, KC, Tampa and Tenn)was all about 1 guy being mediocre. The rest of the defense and our coaches were great. Quick question: if Edmunds sucked so much, why did they keep putting him in the same style of defense for the last 4 seasons ? Are national football coverage reporters being paid to call Milano and Edmunds a great tandem? Maybe it's just the clueless redhots on message bds that need to blame a LB for a team getting beat in the playoffs 3 yes in a row.
  4. That's gratuitous criticism of a guy who has been scapegoated for the failure of the coaches, and our defense in the last 2 playoffs. He's not fast? The best GM in the league has had the choice of offloading or drafting his successor the last 2 years and chose to keep him for his 5th year. Over a hundred tackles the last 3 years and plays thru injuries for a top 5 statistically, defensive corp.. He calls defensive signals and is great in the lockeroom, despite unrelenting criticism from knee-jerk red hots on social media. With an improved D-line, and a walk year looming, let's see what he does this year.
  5. The "13 Seconds" tragedy can be judged as a positive only if the coaching staff can change their approach to end of game ideology. In addition, it exposed our defense as not good enough to win games in "must have a stop" scenarios. The Miller signing will help our entire defense because of his winning mentality as well as the influence on our pressure ability and "coach on the field" resume. The turnover of the D-line should help improve the entire performance of that embattled group. The final aspect of using the "13 Seconds" as a positive is the motivational value it will have on the team and the fan base. As it worked with the "Harmon drop"that catapulted the Bills to league dominance for the next 4 years, the realization that with a few tweaks and prioritizing winning all the games they should win, this team will win SBs.
  6. You actually think this kid at 215,soaking wet, will set an edge better than 245 lb Edmunds. Kiper said on the coverage that once someone gets inside his pads, he's toast. He's got good instincts and a good motor, but he's got to get into the weight room.
  7. Seems like Lamar is starting to see his future somewhere else. He can get his money from FA as well as the runcentric, defense oriented Ravens.
  8. He didn't exactly distinguish his dominance in the SEC, but maybe they'll coach him up like they did with Levi. We can always hope. I still think Beane pulls the trigger on Haden or another FA before the camps start.
  9. Sauce is big on confidence and bluster but does he think covering the guys on Cinn. schedule is in any way applicable to Diggs, Hill, Waddle or Davis. Call me back after he gets abused in traditional Jets fashion.
  10. Why would they opt for Dean when they passed on Devin Lloyd? Then they could have moved Edmunds to get HALL or the best available corner early in the 2nd. Elam is not a difference maker. The Bills have Edmunds on his rookie contract this year. He's staying and my prediction is he gets extended. He's the best option for our SB chase this year.
  11. Do you prefer Dotson over Moore?
  12. Our backs are good enough if Dorsey makes running the ball more an element of the offense. With the emerging O-line with Bates , Brown, Saffold enhancing production, Devin, Johnson and Moss will be fine. The pick should be a trade up into the teens to bring in either Hamilton or an elite receiver who slips(Williams.Olave or Moore)
  13. Unfortunately most of our brothers on the board disregard this little tidbit.
  14. My prediction, with the better D-line we assembled and the improved DBs, both giving Tremaine less of a bullseye on him, he rides this season into an extension.
  15. Edmunds cannot ever survive the wrath of the many detractors that see him as logical scapegoat for the losses suffered at the hands of KC and the other good offenses (Tampa, Tenn, Indy) we played. The game changing plays he never made, the confusion on misdirection runs or coverage whiffs, all very accurate. However, the responsibility of covering up for a D-line with few sacks and QB pressures, a defensive plan that puts him in the crosshairs with tough matchups that usually dominate, when they know his shortcomings and despite these challenges he makes a lot of plays and calls signals for a top 5 defense statistically. The coaches never improved his pressure skill set and play him on every down. FA and the draft focused on getting to the QB in the last two seasons. Those selections failed miserably, (AJ, Addison, Rousseau, Butler) and in 2 games against KC in the postseason, Mahomes had his way. Blame the coaches and our DBs for allowing Hill, Kelce and the others for the obscene amount of passing yards. Edmunds is just an easy target.
  16. Josh Allen is the single greatest player(in every sense)the Bills have had for the 55 years I have followed them. He has the toughness of Stratton and Sestack, the freakish talent of Staubach and Marino and the leadership of the GOAT and Montana. Whether he can get us championships remains to be seen, but as a fan that has kids and grandkids passionate members of Bills nation, I'm thankful that Beane and associates brought this guy here and made him a fixture.
  17. Good take, something to be said for seeing the brilliance of the best ever. That doesn't mean you like him. When Josh miraculously brought us back against Tampa and the Zebras made that hometown Brady PI call after swallowing their flags when we were driving to win outright, how did you feel about him. Listen, you're a great fan, don't go by a beaten down, scarred and unforgiving lifelong Bills nut like me.
  18. How do you like a generational, freakish talent that represents an obstacle to a team that you're emotionally tied to? You can respect and admire the person and incomparable will to win , that separates him from all but one or two QBs in football, but, like Brady for 2 decades, he crushed fans dreams. He would make fans frustrated their guy was in a different stratosphere. To really like a player, he can't be a threat to your future success.
  19. That's exactly my point. He's got average ball skills and they never developed him as a blitzer, where he could impact a game. With his speed and length you would think he could block some throws or get some sacks. He sometimes struggles when they give him difficult matchups in coverage. In any case, with a better D-line and the motivation of being in a contract year, I look for him to have a great season.
  20. If he has freakish length and speed why has the brain trust consistently put him in space hoping he sniffs out well designed underneath crossers. He makes plenty of tackles in the run game and runs down backs and QB runs. Put this man in pressure packages and let him use his assets.
  21. How did Keyshawn get to be a credible source of judging NFL QB talent? He was a petulant jerk as an underachieving receiver with the Jets. Stephen A told him he was somewhere in outer space claiming DeSean Watson better than Josh. He lost any credibility with that imbecilic statement. Please, no more Keyshawn pronouncements.
  22. Bring him on an incentive loaded, short term deal. The guy still very good.
  23. Ray Scott, Gowdy, Marty Glickman, Charlie Jones and Jack Buck.
  24. Can McDermott's defense make a big stop in a big game? His mentality has to be more aggressive, more proactive as opposed to reactive. His players play really hard for him, but Frazier/Sean have to show teams that they can be more dynamic instead of sitting back and trying to hold teams to FGs.
  25. Thankfully, you're able to use the little pictures to express your feelings. Eventually, I'm confident you will be able to use words in short sentences. Good luck with your cognitive problems.
