Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
A true prevent would have been not allowing Kelce or Hill from getting off the line of scrimmage even if it meant tackling them. Also extra dbs could helped coverage schemes instead of rushing 4.Those plays take 5 seconds each and then its a Hail Mary. McD whiffed on the last 13 seconds and should own the loss. He's a defensive coach and had no answers for Mahomes the whole 4th qtr and OT. -
He's not going anywhere but he should take this crushing loss as something he could have avoided. His decisions were that of a coach who kept making the same mistakes, thinking the results would change. Kicking the ball into the end zone with 13 seconds, rushing 4, letting the KC's playmakers get free releases without bumping or holding them with 10 seconds left. Sean was clueless and can own this devastating loss after Josh saved us time after time. Shame on Sean. Bills fans will suffer for his egregious mistakes.

Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?
HamptonBillsfan replied to Bleedbuffaloblue's topic in The Stadium Wall
Let me simplify this for you, the game was determined on decisions made after we lead with 13 seconds left and managed to lose. Situational football strategy called for a kick in the field of play to kill 3 to 5 seconds. Then, why rush 4 when you got no pressure the whole game. Then letting Kelce and Hill have free releaes without holding or tackling them is mind blowing with 10 seconds left. Coaching cost us the game. As a fan please don't dismiss this fact. Aren't you sick of this crap. -
Why All The Clean Releases For Kelce and Hill?

Why, because Sean and Frazier are from the bend don't break school of losing football. He could have won this game and he will never regain the respect from knowledgeable fans until he wins. Josh left his guts on that field and handed these timid coaches this win and their mind-numbing decisions prevented a home championship game and a SB appearance. -
You're right , he showed flashes. I'm just out of sorts. We deserved this one.
-
Why are you wasting your time defending any of these players. They were terrible when it counted. Epenesa didn’t have any contributions as an edge rusher as well as the rest of the D-line. We lost the game because the Chiefs scored at will. Don't talk about living up to contracts. He's gone next year. This team does not scare any good offenses with the defense we showed in the biggest game of the season.
-
Addison played hurt and produced during the season. I think he even had some sacks. Epenesa stunk and gets zero pressure, along with Rousseau.
-
I respect Sean and the team plays hard but he is bad at situational football. He is a so called defensive coach and his defense was almost passive after getting leads at the end of regulation. The Chiefs playmakers were almost left uncovered with 13 seconds left. I feel sick for our great fans who live and die with our team. Frazier should go and explore other opportunities. He's a good man but his defense when they had victory handed to them by a historic performance, failed. This can't happen anymore.
-
I love Oliver and Harry and Addison plays hard, but Hughes Epenesa and the corners are bad.
-
Our defense is good against pedestrian offenses. We are not good enough on the edges or in the secondary to dominate KC, Tampa, GB, both LA teams, or Cinn with our defense. Josh may win games against these with his brilliance but we are far from one of the top defenses.
-
Our defensive coaches(Sean and Frazier) betrayed our great QB. He played his heart out for Bills fans and these bend don't break mentality losers, did everything to undo the victory Josh deserved. It's criminal. Find a way to stop a team with 13 seconds left or get out of coaching, because these losses crush people's souls.
-
Tell me about Epenesa, Rousseau and the Bills young edge rushers. They were drafted to pressure Mahomes and sadly they failed. The same scenario as last year with Hill running wild through our secondary and Kelce open with the game on the line. We gave up 17pts a game in the regular season and 36 when it counted.
-
Horrible job by Sean. He fritter away one of the all time QB performances in NFL history. How do you kick the ball in the end zone with 13 seconds left. The defense allowing Kelce to be uncovered with 8 seconds left . Hill not doubled in overtime was bad, but the D-line never got any pressure on Mahomes. The guy did anything he wanted. This was a game we had.
-
Dane was unable to cover Pitts effectively and Kelce is bigger. He will have to be bumped early by an LB and or a safety and then covered by Dane or Johnson. The problem is Mahomes extending plays and keeping Kelce covered. If he starts hurting us Sean might have to double him with Edmunds and a db. He can wreck a game.

Whatever he's doing, it's working. It's like we finally have defenses having to protect against runs by our backs and that's giving Josh time to find all these receiving options. The check downs are even wide open.
-
Who are these guys? This line is opening holes for Motor and Josh, giving the protection Josh needs to pick teams apart and imposing their will on good defenses. All credit must go to O-line coaches and the lineman who have taken responsibility for this offense being successful.

Josh Allen Can't Play in the Cold
HamptonBillsfan replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Josh will reflect all QBs difficulties in strong wind, but to a lesser extent because of arm strength. His stats have not been up to his normal performance in reasonable weather. This also can be attributed playcalling that is evolving with Josh's understanding about taking what defenses are giving. Everything is moving in the right direction. -
Bills got every single break last night
HamptonBillsfan replied to Miyagi-Do Karate's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Bills came out and physically dominated NE. Breaks are the residue of talent and want to. NE was intimidated by the elements and our great fans, then the Bills imposed their will on a team that couldn't deal with the most physically talented QB in the game. Throw in a resurgent O-line, and a RB who has finally arrived and a receiving corp that can dominate any secondary, and it was easy for the Pats to quit. -
For those who attended The Perfect Game live..
HamptonBillsfan replied to QB Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Incredible awe inspiring performance by every fan that braved the elements to provide the biggest home field advantage in football, and helped our team be the best version of itself. On behalf of all the national Bills Fandom outside of Western NY, thank you. -
This team from the 2nd half in Tampa, has gotten stronger, confident and more physically assertive every game. Josh has ascended to be the incredible leader we hoped he would become and most physically talented QB in the sport. The game against NE will serve as a template for all teams to aspire to. It's great to be a Bills fan.
